I have a lot of hair... A LOT
Hair stylists and hair cutters have noted in my file to leave an extra 45 minutes to work on my hair because, as they say, I have "three times the amount of hair" of most people. So I was hesitant to buy this clip because I've never found a barrette that can hold the top half of my locks. This one not only clamped down on the whole top half of my hair (pulled back from ears to middle-back of my head, with the back hanging down, loose), but it also stayed all day. It's the right shape/curve for my head, it holds the right amount of hair, and it's pretty too!I'm going to buy some of these for my sister for her birthday. She has even more hair than I do, and hers is completely straight and slippery (mine is wavy, but I pull it back as described above when it is wet, and leave it in a ponytail holder until dry, then take it down, brush it, and put it back up in a barrette). We will see if they meet the challenge of HER hair!

Very pretty
A nice, well-made hair clip that will hold a lot of hair in a ponytail. It'll hold hair twisted to pin up as well but then it stands away from the head and looks just odd. A tad expensive but will last.

Time saver
Never successfully enjoyed a shampoo/conditioner until now - this keeps my skin and hair happy and I love the smell - it is one of the earthier stronger scents, and that fits my personality.
