Remote operation of power to my holiday home
The power to the mifi router at my holiday home is supplied through this device. Occasionally the router needs to be rebooted which can be done simply by sending a text to the Powertxt device which switches the power to the router off and on. No more driving 130 miles to my holiday home just to reboot the router.An excellent piece of kit which does as described by the maker. Very easy to set up, just insert a sim card and plug the Powertxt into a socket.

Brilliant but…..
Works really well BUT doesn't work with a 3 sim card

Works perfectly on EE Network
I’ve had this for a couple of months to let me know of power or heating failures in a property. It works perfectly and sends texts, using a 1p Mobile EE sim. Texting the device to check the ambient temperature is simple.

Great product used with 1pMobile sim to switch heaters on my boat 200 miles away

Works exactly as advertised. Unexpectedly they added a thermometer which one can plugs into the switch if one wishes. I've run the switch now for several weeks with faultless behaviour. Can heartily recommend.
