Fun and funny. He is a man whore that takes a little blue pill and ends up in the emergency room!!!
This was really fun and funny. He takes a little blue pill and ends up in the emergency room 8 hour later because the results won't go down.He finds the nurse extra special; and can't figure out why she isn't interested in taking him seriously; even after telling her how he used the results, of the little blue pill, for hours on 2 women. She is engaged and ends up being friends with the sister of one of his best friends. They keep getting thrown together. He wants her no mater how long he has to wait. He thinks hitting on her constantly is the way to go. He never stops being a man whore; but really wants her, for his forever.

Wit and Steam
The witty dialog alone in this book is worth the read. Factor in the personalities of a the characters, a nurse and a player, along with their transformations and you have a winner!

Fun friends to lover rom-com
What a fun romantic comedy! Brody is hilarious- very immature but sweet so I found him endearing rather than annoying. Rainey is much more uptight but then together, they worked because they balanced each other out. This is a (forced) friends to lover romance where they were put together because they have friends in common. Brody keeps coming on to Rainey while Rainey avoids him but finds it hard to keep the attraction at bay. Throughout the relationship, Brody is often so sweet in taking care of Rainey and I love that some of the scenes show a more “realistic” view of a relationship (take the scene after eating contaminated food and how he takes care of her. Aww) Both the characters' internal musings (including when Brody provides "tips" to the listeners about what is realistic in a relationship) provide a lot of chuckles. I really enjoyed this book though Rainey's push pull was a little too drawn out. This is the second book in the series and there are a lot of characters that will go through the books. I didn’t read the first book in the series before listening to this book and I do think that it would have been better to read in order just because there are so many characters. The supporting characters are pretty lovable too.I bought the book but received the audiobook upon request. This is a dual POV book so i definitely think it's better to have a male and female narrator rather than just the female narrator. I've never listened to a book with Stephanie Murphy and while she was good, I couldn’t always tell which character was speaking- there wasn’t enough differentiation between the different characters and given how many characters there are in this book, it did make the listening experience a little more difficult. However, overall, it was still an enjoyable listen.🎧AudiobookObsessionReviewer, AudiobookObsessionReviewer

Brody and Rainey are hysterical!
OMG, I love Brody! He is just so hysterical. This story was right alongside Deal Breakers, Ms. Lee just keeps getting better and better with each story. The thoughts that run through Brody Harris’ mind made me ask, is this what guys really think?? He was no ashamed of being the man slut! So proud, even when he meets Rainey, a nurse at North Seattle Memorial. She doesn’t usually cover the ER, but since they were shorthanded, she was on shift when Brody was in the ER. He decided to take a Viagra at the suggestion of one of his friends and you know what happened, it worked to well and would not wear off! Rainey came in to triage him and he was hooked.Rainey becomes good friends with Devyn and their friendship included hanging out with her brother and his friends. One of his best friends just happened to be Brody Harris. The author gives you a great back story of their meeting and the evolution of their friendship/bickering. Brody keeps flirting and trying to get into Rainey’s pants but she is in a relationship and fends him off for years. Then one day, her engagement implodes and she is devastated. Brody is there to help and she throws herself at him, but he refuses to be the rebound guy she will regret.I loved this story more than the first book, which is saying a lot since I loved the first book. Brody’s comments and thoughts are hysterical, really gives you an insight on the man wh*** thinking. The commentaries and the exchanges were so funny, it was a great story. I can’t wait for the last of them to fall, Drew Summers. Great writing Ms. Lee!!

I loved Rainey and Brody
I loved Rainey and Brody. Their banter was highly entertaining, Brody was a pro at pushing Rainey’s buttons and she was always ready with wit, sass and sarcasm. You could definitely feel the chemistry between them from the moment they met. The way it built over the passing years until the moment they gave in and their chemistry exploded with passion and emotions.I adored Brody he was always quick with sarcasm and ridiculous comments but underneath all that he was incredibly sweet. Rainey was sassy and kept her heart guarded due to past hurts. You could feel the intensity of emotions grow between them which at some points brought a tightness in my chest and a tear to my eye.I’m excited to read Drew’s story. I really love this world that Laura Lee created the whole group has stolen a piece of my heart.

Crazy Funny!
Deal Takers is the 2nd book in the Dealing With Love Series. It's a stand alone issue and this series doesn't have to be read in any particular order. Each book contains the interconnecting characters that will keep you updated on them. This book is very well written with wonderful characters, a hilarious plot, off the charts banter, alternating POVs and swoon worthy love scenes. The story is about Brody, a playboy who takes a Viagra pill and ends up in the ER, who then meets Rainey, his attending nurse. She actually is a Labor and Delivery Nurse. Brody ask her out, she turns him down, then we get the by play of the next four years between the H/H and the interconnecting characters. You cannot turn the pages fast enough with this book, it's so entertaining. If you had plans, ditch'em...you will not put this book down to you have read the last word!

Good read
Haven’t read this author before but I thoroughly enjoyed the book. 6 years difference between the couple which is nothing and takes place over 4 years. Funny, silky, romantic and a small bit of angst.
