Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream, 3.2 Oz (Package May Vary)

Love this cream! Never irritates my skin. Everyone in my family has started using it now. However, it does have a bit of a strong, almost medicinal smell.

I’ve been a Burt’s Bee’s fan since before it was cool, I’m talking 20+ years ago. I’ve also been an RN for almost 39 years. We wash our hands A LOT, hospital paper towels are like fine sand paper and to be honest? Super cheap. I think I am an expert on advising what hand cream works, believe me I’ve tried them all. I’ve had countless colleagues tout this hand cream or that hand cream. THIS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT WORKS! So the scent? to me it smells medicinal for lack of a better term. I honestly wouldn’t care what it smells like as I don’t get the cracks in the corners of my finger nails that are so painful and not to mention invite an infection. My hands are smooth and not red with tiny micro cuts in them. This cream has been my one and only go to for years.

I live in a semi arid part of the country and have always developed painful cracks in my skin on my fingers and thumbs, especially in the dry winter months. And, over the years, I have tried about everything to moisturize my hands. I finally found this product and it works for me. I rub it in before bed and it does a great job of moisturizing my hands. It does have a scent, which I find pleasant. It is not greasy, but it does leave a film on my hands, which is why I apply it before bed. I have used this product for awhile now and I recommend it.

Bought this for my partner, who's a mechanic. He was complaining of how dry his hands are from the constant scrubbing he has to do throughout the day everyday and the soaps are quote drying to his skin causing dryness and cracking, this led to pain any time he needed to keep his hands wet for any extended period of time. The smell is not bad and no perfumes is a plus, along with the natural ingredients. The texture is creamy and thick. It does take a bit to soak in but to be expected with such a thick lotion.

Burt's Bees hand repair saved my dry hands after a move to Central / East Texas during the dry, winter months. My hands were dry, cracking and started bleeding which left me MISERABLE. I tried multiple lotions which didn't help at all. After a little research I ordered this stuff. I'm used to the way Burt's bees lip balm and foot cream smell, so I was quite surprised when I opened this hand repair cream and got a whiff. I wouldn't say it stinks, but it doesn't smell good either. My wife teases me and says I smell like an old man when I put it on my hands. After about a week of applying this every night before bed, my hands started healing and I haven't had any cracks in my hands since. I now treat my hands every few days with Burt's Coconut Foot Creme (which smells amazing) and haven't had any issues with dry or cracked skin.

This brand makes great hand creams, however, I don’t really care for the scent of this one. I typically use the honey & grape seed and it smells wonderful. I mistakenly ordered the shea butter, but cannot get past the unpleasant smell of it and won’t use it. I already tossed both boxes, so I’m not able to return them. I’ve only given 3 stars because of the unpleasant scent.

Love this hhand cream

This is a terrible product. It used to be a nice hand cream. Someone obviously decided to change the formula and ruined it. It smells bad like it's old and is really thick and hard to squeeze out of the tube. And it leaves your hands very greasy. I have to wipe most it off before I touch anything. It doesn't work very well either. I put it on before I went to bed so I wasn't touching anything and my hands were still very dry in the morning like it wasn't even soaking in. Wish I would have opened it sooner so I could return the second tube. Unfortunately, it will probably just be going in the garbage.

Excellent hand cream well worth the money

Me encanta BurtBees, y esta crema de karité esta deliciosa. La humectación de todos los productos de línea es buenaza y los olores riquísimos. Intento rotar para ir conociendo más productos, ninguno me ha decepcionado.
