What's the origin of the extract? And what is the color of the powder?

The roots are grown in Indonesia, and are then extracted by a top Chinese herbal extraction company. The extract is a fine, yellowish brown powder.

How does this compare to an extract standardized for eurycomanone?

It compares very favorably. The standardized eurycomanone is the most recent tongkat ali scam. You can look at 1 and 2% eurycomanone standardized tongkat, and they hardly taste like tongkat at all. You tell how good a tongkat ali product is by the bitterness. Whereas eurycomanone is a marker for tongkat, it is not the main alkaloid, and I'd advise staying away from it.

Is this real tongkat ali? Should I trust this brand?

It is absolutely real tongkat ali. It is easy to tell by the taste. Barlowe's has sold the same tongkat from the same supplier for the last seven years. It is high quality and potent.

what does the 100:1 mean? what is the difference in it and the 10:1?

100:1 means 100 kilograms of root were used to product 1 kilogram of extract. 10:1 means 10 kilograms were used to make 1 kilogram of extract.
