If you have an open mind this book can change your life. The tremendous detail that comes through from the other side makes Jesus so real. The touching scenes of healing and emotions cannot help but touch your heart and give you real insight as to how much our creator father really loves us. The lessons that the bible tries to teach come through with tremendous clarity especially when you examine how Jesus taught his apostles to teach and live. It doesn't take long in reading this book to realize it was written by beings of much higher than earthly intelligence. In these pages explained clearly in many different examples is how God's love for us is the truth that can set human beings free to love each other and the God that created us. Some would say the expanded information is contradictory to the bible but I believe it's really the bible on steroids. It's hard to imagine this information came in the form of the Urantia Papers and was received by a group of people in Chicago about 100 years ago. If the human race is ready accept that UFO's are a reality then we are more than ready to accept that God is real and that he is a creator who loves us dearly and desires a personal relationship with each of us. It is up to us to develop and foster that relationship while living here on earth and learning how to love each other the way God loves us. True love for your fellow man cannot help but manifest itself in loving service. The most unusual attribute of this book is it's uncanny ability to give the reader an understanding of the personality of Jesus. It is well worth reading.

When I ordered a copy of "The Untold Story of Jesus: A Modern Biography from The Urantia Book", I was not prepared for the extraordinary quality of the book. I was delighted by the sheer beauty of the full-color artwork which illustrates the major events of the life of Jesus from his birth to his death as recounted in The Urantia Book, and by the illuminating and superbly well-written content of the book. One would expect to pay more than double the price for this fine quality printing. Kudos to all those who produced this labor of love. But more to the point, this is the book that so many Christians and Catholics - and other truthseekers - would love to read if they are fortunate enough to find out about it. Growing up as a Catholic, I can say that most of us were frustrated by the lack of information about the entirety of the life of Jesus - not just as a Son of God but also as a human being like us. We all wanted to know about his childhood and family life, his schooling and friends, his life lessons and personal struggles, the major decisions he had to make about his life's mission, and what kind of work and travels he engaged in before he started his public ministry. How did he become such an unparalleled master spiritual teacher, whose sublime life significantly upstepped the moral and spiritual evolution of our world? How can the knowledge of how he lived and what he taught help each of us to live a more enlightened, compassionate, meaningful, purpose-driven, and helpful life? "The Untold Story of Jesus: A Modern Biography from The Urantia Book" is a treasure of inexhaustible meaning and value. I very much liked the art which contributed to visualizing places and people of his life. Most especially did I like the narration of his personal, one-on-one talks, such as with Chang as he traveled and taught. This book offers many new insights about Jesus and his purposes, insights that will, in time, mightily contribute to improved world order and lead to planetary peace. Jesus human life modeling of relationships sets a new "touchstone" of eminence and quality. He was a master of relationships because he superbly mastered himself. Growing up from childhood he sought truth as a brilliant student, showing his parents and community strong interest in learning everything. And yet, he was the Creator of the material life he came to admire, even wondering how water could be steam and liquid and even become ice. He became a wise family manager after his father's untimely death. Narration of his wisdom dealing with difficult financial matters is valuable guidance for all people, as patience was modeled. He early developed a strong faith in his Father God, just as he now desires for us. The Untold Story of Jesus is truly a gift to inspire people of all religions to take a serious and joyful look at Jesus' everlastingly valuable guidance for all people. After all is said, no person throughout the world is obligated to any organized religion for a pathway to God. No person is required to adopt Christianity to like Jesus. This book is fabulous. Maybe you've never heard of the Urantia book and that's ok, just open this up and take a look. There has never been a book like this. From the very first page you will be captivated. When you think about it the bible has only a very short amount of days of Jesus' actual life for us to think about and he is THE most important figure of our time. He said himself at John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No-one comes to the Father except through me" Doesn't it stand to reason that at some point his story would need to be updated. You have here over 300 pages of enthralling material about the life of Jesus of Nazareth along with 106 beautiful paintings by modern artists. There are 3 maps to show his journeys and a wonderful timeline at the end of all the important dates of his life. This is a wonderful coffee table book but by all means, read it and reacquaint yourself with Joshua ben Joseph-Jesus Christ. You will see him in a new light and perhaps you will want to also read more about him in the Urantia book.

love this book except for the lord and gods and jesus even in the book as the papers say it JOSHUA,, but also uses jesus which is INcorrect... love the book beautifull and not cheap..

untold story jesus extraordinário e excelente apresentação

A must-read for every person, whether they believe or not. Every page, every quote, is uplifting, inspirational, and the untold part is simply beyond description. The wonderful renditions of the scenes of the gospel are alone worth the buy, not to mention the wonderful short narratives and stories inside. I would recommend this to everybody. Frankly, its a catch at this price, it could be sold for double the price and I would still get it. Simply amazing!

I am a fairly new reader of the Urantia Book and so was interesting in this new Book, The Untold Story of Jesus, which is an abridged version of Part IV of the Urantia Book, which deals with the life of Jesus here on Earth. Now I have to be honest here and say that though I read the Urantia Book, I am not a follower or devotee of it. I just find it a fascinating (and sometimes vary difficult) book to read. For me the Bible is the only authority on the life of Jesus, and anything else is, as far as I am concerned, pure speculation. However, it is an interesting read and so this new book piqued my interest. The first thing I thought as I opened the box containing this book was “Wow, this is a beautiful book!”, and indeed it is. It has 340+ pages on a good quality, thick glossy paper, and over 100 beautiful paintings of art within its pages. The binding is good quality and has a convenient read fabric ribbon sewn into the spine as a bookmark. You can tell that a lot of care and attention was put into this book. As for the contents: You get a preface, the (abridged) text of Part IV of the Urantia Book, dealing with the life of Jesus, conclusion, a time line of the life of Jesus, Bible and Urantia Book references, and a glossary of Urantia Book terms. The stories within can seem quite fantastic, and in my view, takes a lot of liberties in describing the life of Jesus as a child, teenager, schoolboy and young adult. But still, it is a fascinating read. Readers of the Urantia Book will be well aware of the life of Jesus according to the Urantia Book, but to those, like me, who only take the Bible as authority on the life of Jesus, it can seem vary strange reading. The Urantia Book, it is claimed, was provided to the English-speaking nations by divine beings, angels if you like, via what I would describe as a “conduit”, a person who was used by them to channel all this information. So, in summary; it’s a beautifully made book, fascinating to read whether you believe it to be divinely narrated or simply a ficitonal book written by some chap over a period of about 20 years.

So much to learn.
