Correct Pentair product, description incorrect (is not 7" X 5")
I was told verbally by a Pentair employee this is the correct part, despite it being listed as 7" long. Is really ~1.5" (which is what my system needs).

I wasn’t 100% sure about this filter, but it absolutely fit like a glove, looks identical to the original.

Not happy
Filter is to small. Not worth requesting a refund. Company charges consumers for mailing label & return postage. Won’t order from them again.

Works.
I needed this for our pool filter. Somehow the original was lost, and a direct replacement is no longer available. The old one was longer and more heavy duty. However, this one fit and does the job just fine.

It was a little difficult to put on, but with a little effort it went on !!

Better quality than pool store.
I was replacing these at each filter clean out or before, due to them tearing and the earth was getting into the pool for a cloudy look. These are built with a better screen and attached better to the plastic tube. Haven’t had any problems yet.
