St. Ives Face Scrub, Exfoliant BHA Apricot Scrub

This acne scrub leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed without being overly harsh. It helps remove excess oil and dead skin while making my face feel smoother after each use. After consistent use, I noticed fewer breakouts and less redness. The texture and scent are also pleasant and not overpowering.

I’ve been using the St. Ives Acne Control Face Scrub for many years, and it has truly become a staple in my skincare routine. From the very first use, I noticed a significant difference in how my skin felt—smooth, refreshed, and visibly clearer. The scrub does exactly what it promises, effectively targeting acne while being gentle on my skin. One of the standout features for me is the price point on Amazon. It’s often more affordable than what I find at local stores, making it a budget-friendly option for those of us who want effective skincare without breaking the bank. Plus, the added discount for subscribing is a fantastic perk. It ensures that I never run out of my go-to product while saving a little extra cash in the process. The texture of the scrub is just right—not too harsh, yet effective enough to really cleanse and exfoliate my skin without causing irritation. The natural ingredients make me feel good about what I’m applying to my face, promoting a healthy glow while keeping blemishes at bay. Overall, I can confidently say that St. Ives Acne Control Face Scrub will always remain one of my favorite facial products. The St. Ives Acne Control Face Scrub is hands-down one of the most effective and refreshing skincare products I've used. From the very first use, the deep exfoliation is noticeable it sloughs away dead skin cells without being overly harsh, leaving your face feeling incredibly smooth and rejuvenated. What sets this scrub apart is the combination of 100% natural exfoliants and salicylic acid. It doesn’t just unclog pores it actively works to prevent future breakouts. The apricot scent smells nice and is clean and energizing, making it a great addition to both morning and evening routines. Best of all, it's oil-free, so there’s no greasy residue. It’s especially effective for anyone with combination or acne-prone skin looking for a solution that’s both affordable and clinically smart. After just a week of use, skin looks clearer, and more balanced. Highly recommend this scrub as a staple in any skincare routine focused on clarity, glow, and prevention.

The St. Ives Acne Control Face Scrub with Apricot is excellent for keeping my skin clear and smooth. The salicylic acid helps prevent breakouts, while the natural exfoliants gently remove dead skin without irritation. It deeply exfoliates, leaving my skin feeling refreshed and glowing after each use. The oil-free formula is great for acne-prone skin, and the scrub has a pleasant, light scent. Overall, this is an effective, affordable, and gentle acne scrub that I’ll continue to use regularly. Highly recommended.

St. Ives Acne Control Face Scrub does a good job of exfoliating and helping prevent breakouts. The oil-free salicylic acid and natural exfoliants leave my skin feeling smooth and refreshed without over-drying. I like the apricot scent—it’s pleasant but not overpowering. The scrub provides a gentle exfoliation that works well for daily use, and over time, my skin has felt clearer and more radiant. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that the exfoliation is a bit mild if you’re looking for a deeper scrub. Overall, a solid, natural choice for keeping acne under control while maintaining healthy, glowing skin.

Been using this stuff for about 15 years (ever since I was a pre-teen) and recommend it to everyone with oily/combo or acne prone skin. The scrub is coarse enough to really scrub your face but not too coarse in that you get red scratches everywhere. The stuff really isn't sharp, they must tumble the ground up seeds or something because it feels really good. I love it and find it keeps my skin, which seems to shed like a lizard every single day, from being a mess. I use it on my elbows and other places I want exfoliated as well with the same success. Since moving in my boyfriend has been using it also and loves it. He has facial hair so he only uses it in the shower (since it is a little more difficult to rinse out of body hair) but it seems to work well for his combo/acne prone skin. I'll use it at the sink sometimes but generally it's part of my showering as well since the ground up bits of apricot seed can be annoying to get off of your skin without a constant stream of water. You can use this daily if your skin is not super sensitive but I find it better used as a 'once in a while' thing not 'all the time' as a cleanser. If you want to use it a lot I'd suggest the oatmeal one since it seems to be a much finer grain and is much less abrasive along with the bonus of moisturizers. (Boyfriend likes it and uses that one on days he feels like a gentle scrubbing with moisturizing help) Personally I like the original apricot more and so use this in the shower once/twice a week then as a daily (or multi-daily) cleanser I use the foaming cetaphil facial wash along with one of those round cellulose sponges to 'gently buff and scrub' my face clean. I have super oily skin and the cetaphil is probably my best friend when it comes to keeping it in check but, as I said, have skin that sheds a lot so that's what the apricot scrub keeps in check. Overall, must have and will continue to buy it until I drop.

To start off I am not getting getting paid for this or anything. I just have a lot of free time right now and I decided to write a review because I love this product. So...I do NOT have sensitive skin unlike my mom (who I'll talk about later). I used (and still use) this every morning and it cleared all of my scars within a month. I did NOT have acne but my friend did and I ended up buying this for her as a gift. Her cheeks and forehead were filled with scars. ALL OVER. Now (2 months later), her face is almost clear. Her scars are barely visible and she buys this product regularly. She doesn't have sensitive skin but was still cautious because she didn't want to mess up her scars and used this twice a week. Monday and Thursday. I swear this product is my holy grail lol. Anyways, my mom. My mother has very delicate sensitive skin. She used this product like twice but didn't proceed with it because it turned her skin red and didn't like that so it's all on preference I guess. I still recommend it for you sensitive skinned people. Lastly, PLEASE PLEASE moisturize after each use. This dries up your skin (duh, it's supposed to prevent pimples) so use a very light moisturizer. I do NOT use any of this brands moisturizers because they did NOT help me. They created a layer on top of my skin and my skin didn't absorb it. I use the bath and body Shea butter hand lotion. ( I have it in the picture above. It comes with many different scents of course) I just squirt a quarter sized amount and rub it all over my face and that's my moisturizer for the rest of the day. I also don't wear makeup so that also might change with the whole moisturizer thing because I'm not looking for anything to hold my makeup or whatever. But yea, you should so buy this!

I use this scrub daily for my oily skin and can't imagine using anything else. Everything else I've tried doesn't come close to exfoliating like this does. The smell and texture are great.
