St. Ives Softening Body Lotion Coconut & Orchid Extract 21 oz

This lotion really works! It has a very nice creamy consistency and a light pleasant smell. The bottle includes sweet almond oil and shea butter in the ingredients which are so wonderful for the skin as well as anti-aging. St Ives makes quality products and I have enjoyed several of them. This 24 Hour Lotion is one of my favorites in their range. I also love their Pear & Soy lotion, it's heavenly! The best part of their line of lotions is that they are all 100% Completely Free of Parabens and Phthalates! This is hard to find these days, thankfully it's getting a bit easier. St Ives has lead the way in mainstream products being all natural and paraben free while still maintaining a very affordable price. I highly recommend this lotion to those of you with normal to dry skin, it is a very nice and luxurious lotion. Smell is breathtaking !

I've been using this lotion for years, but since the most recent label/bottle change I've only been able to find it on Amazon, but for a really good price. This lotion initially feels heavy, but spreads around easily and feels light on your skin. It absorbs quickly so you can get dressed soon after putting it on without having to worry about having trouble getting your jeans on. I noticed in another review there was a complaint about it having a scent. It is fragrance-free (meaning no perfumes added) but does have a light scent which I've always liked. You can't expect something to have no scent whatsoever! Compared to other frangrance-free lotions, this smells loads better. It keeps my skin soft and smooth all day long and into the next, and it has never irritated my sensitive skin. I recommend this lotion to pretty much everyone!

This is my go to lotion... I have used it for the last 20 or more years. It quickly soaks into your skin leaving your skin moist, not oily.. It saved my pierced earring piercings.. Rubbed on every night for about 3 weeks and it healed the sore inflamed piercings.. Doc said use another product.. that only inflamed the piercing. St. Ives Coconut & Orchid came to the rescue.

I love, love, love St Ives products they're always moisturizing and soothing, and this lotion is no different! It is thick and rich, it absorbs quickly and doesn't leave you feeling greasy or tacky. This particular product is one of the most highly perfumed lotions out of any of the St Ives lotions I have used! I was surprised at how strong the scent was, I think because this is very flowery when most St Ives lotions are not. I highly recommend you try to find this and take a whiff in store before buying. It has a very unique smell, I detect multiple different scents in this lotion: coconut, milky, slightly musky, brown sugar, tropical (I guess the orchid?). It fades to a nice subtle version of the initial, very strong scent. I don't feel the need to wear perfume when I put this on, which would make it a perfect summer scent. All-in-all, I'm not a huge fan of this particular scent so I won't be reordering, but I hope my input helps you in your decision!

It smells amazing I read a lot of reviews before buying because I wanted to see if anyone was going to say anything about it smelling funny lol but I took the chance and it smells good and moisturizes the skin I did have to use it twice a day and I'll be honest and say that I've tried 2 other St. Ives lotions and if you need something very moisturizing St. Ives Coconut Milk & Orchid Extract is the most moisturizing the only thing is it has a strong smell of Orchid so if you don't like very sweet smells you may not like it I don't mind it the other one I tried is the Oatmeal & Shea Butter and it smells amazing but you may have to use it a couple time through out the day

Overall good quality

I have been using this product for many years and was glad to find it again on Amazon. Lovely moisturising and great perfume too. Maintained quality of product over the years. Somehow, I preferred the old packaging label design which was more traditional and aesthetic and pretty, as compared to the new labels which are more contemporary and a bit garish. But this is an unimportant issue.

Esta loción corporal tienen un olor muy agradable, aunque la persistencia del mismo no es prolongado (algo que valoro positivamente, aunque seguro que hay gente que prefiere que perdure más tiempo). Así misma, su textura es bastante fácil de aplicar y no deja sensación grasa, y se absorbe completamente evitando sensación de "estar sudando crema" después de habértela dado.
