Lovely hedgehog house. Very sturdy. Will blend in well in the garden.

Easily fits 4 hogs at the same time. No more overcrowding in their smaller one. An excellent wood interiour, very high quality finish. The outer is nicely camouflaged. Has a good sized entrance door but not so big as to allow other animals such as cats and foxes in easily. Personally, I choose to waterproof everything myself just to be sure - with a simple green tarpaulin either loosly pegged and/or weighed down with a large brick/stone. Again this helps to prevent other animals from breaking in by lifting it up. A ground sheet is also a personal choice, I like to keep their little paws dry on a wet night so I place something under it. Keep it slightly hidden out of the way, for their safety snd privacy. It took a few days for them to trust the new feeding Station but now the bowls in each of them are empty most mornings. If you don't know this - a good way to tell if hogs are indeed eating the kibble is they leave a lot of crumbs behind, a perfecly licked clean bowl could indicate that some other species is tucking in. Lots of crumbs in an almost empty bowl is a sure sign of Hog activity. Good Luck and well done for caring! They need all the help that we can give. I happily RECOMMEND this Feeding Station.

A bit roughly made but the Hedgehogs arent bothered and went into it to feed the first night it was there. Perfect to stop the Foxes from eating their food as well as their own.

It IS a lot larger than a lot of these log type feeding stations/houses though I agree with others in the fact it is a bit flimsy suits me fine as we have it in our porch where we have visiting foxes and a stray cat who all steal the hedgehog food - I put a trail of the puppy food and the dish INSIDE the "house" so the hedgehogs could find it and the foxes can't reach it - the cat might well find a way in but the first night the hedgehogs DID find the food O.K. one of the foxes DID manage to strip one of the bark pieces (as she probably smelt the food inside) but I can really recommend this "house" but would advise not to expect to withstand British weather well! Such a good price for what it is!

Beautifully made , larger than I anticipated, was hoping to place in a small space , but is quite large so just put in back garden . Arrived promptly, very well packaged .

Unfortunately easily accessible by a particular cat!, otherwise solidly built, there were a few bare patches, where the bark has not covered the lining wood, but I varnished over these. Hedgehog goes in regularly, but not sure if the cat leaves much for him.

Bought one for myself and then got one for a gift for my sister and her family. Very sturdy and fits into garden well, although I don’t know if it’s been used but it’s worth a try.
