Install is very easy and for my EZGO RXV it is truly plug and play. I don’t know why these are not standard equipment on every EZGO since the wiring is already there.

On my 2023 ezgo valor (gas). I mounted the fuel gauge and plugged it to the matching connector that was indeed located behind the dash between the light switch and key switch.The fuel gauge reads full and does not move.From another review that I found, it sounds like I need to purchase a sending unit and install in the tank by making a separate hole in the tank specifically for the sending unit. I do see a connector located very close to the tank that might be for the fuel sending unit. I wish I knew. Sending unit 604188 is what is mentioned in another review by Kenny.

EZGO Customer Support verified that PN 612314 is the correct part number to order for my 48V 2021 Lithium battery RXV golf cart. However, today I received PN 8062 as shown on the box and packing slip, but it does appears to be the identical part in form, fit and function. EZGO had also sent me a direct order link and it sent me to their 8062 part number so I knew this should be a good part number. However, their price was much higher. To install, I had to remove (4) four 5/32” torx dash screws since the connector was not easily accessible and buried behind the ignition switch and wire harness. I cut a 2” hole with the dash back in place using a dremel tool and cutting bit. No instructions were included, but delivery was very quick. The meter worked immediately showing the charge and I’m happy that my grandkids don’t have to worry about the amount of charge level remaining.

For 2018 and probably 2016 and up RXVJust use a 2" hole punch. Some youtuber's took the dash off, wasn't necessary for mine as the connector is right on the inside of the dash and you can reach up from underneath, move the connector to the hole you have created plug in the fuel meter and pop it in the hole.

I bought 10 of these for my customers carts so they could get a reading on their battery half of them are stuck on full half of them meet to be tapped. We have to tap on to get them to work and I’m stuck with a gauge stuck on full if I take it out, there’s a hole in the dash.
