I have had two of these for over 7 years now . They have outlasted the original that came with the air conditioning unit. Extremely happy and can't say enough good things about them.

I have a Sharp portable AC and this is a bit small but I made it work. You have to fiddle with lining up threads and making sure you cover the ends with more hose. You can also duck tape it to fit, but I haven't yet. I rated it well because the replacement hose cost $80 and this was $13 and gets the job done. Maybe not quite as tough as the Sharp hose, but it is pretty good and worth it.

As per my friend's request, I ordered A/C universal exhaust hose in 5" diameter. The delivery took one day to arrive in my mailbox with surprises. My friend was very happy to have that hose because it was very easy to install, light weigh to put against the window. She liked its appearance much because it was flexible and moveable. Thank you.

Its a good product

This product was a good value. It fit well and seems to tunnel all the heat from my airconditioner. This part seems to decline over tune and just crumble..literally. lol My old one that was on the airconditioner did just that. It did however last for like 15 years. If this exhaust pipe last 1/2 the time it will be well worth the money spent. Overall seems to be a good solid replacement exhaust hose. I would recommend it.

I needed two of these hoses for my older portable air condition; they both fit perfectly in my connectors. Turning them in place was super easy as well. The only thing that was a bit of a pain was curving them into place since this material is very stiff and durable, which is not a bad thing unless you need a solid 90 degree angle to fit this hose into. Make sure you know what thread you need before buying, I made the mistake of buying counter-clock wise thread when I needed clockwise.

I just received the 5 inch hose today, and it’s a good thing because it was 36 degrees C so I got a chance to try it out. The original hose was falling apart after years of use. It worked perfect. It was easy to install and is long enough. It is a product I would recommend, and you can’t beat the price!
