Bostonian Men's Caydon Step Slip-On Loafer

Bought for my Dad. Very simple but stylish. Nice leather. Fit is according to regular sizing. Only negative could be they felt heavy. At least to modern times when all shoes are light and comfortable. My Dad loved them but agreed little on the heavier side. But at same time he said they were comfortable and nice. Maybe not to walk long distances or for sales people who stand or walk all day.He owns many Bostonian shoes and loves them so heavy and all he kept them.

This is my second pair of Bostonian shoes. They are a reliable and well made brand for the price. The two pairs I have (slightly different models) have a perfect fit and a nice look. The only downside is that they don't have much cushion/support under the foot.

These are really nice shoes. There is a little break in period though, as they're a wee bit stiff at first, (to be fair, I did wear them all day!) but over all very comfortable. The leather is soft yet retains it's shape. The color is perfect (mine are dark brown, I've seen a lighter tan from some sellers). These are great shoes for a wide variety of occasions. They have an easy casual look, but can be dressed up for more semi-formal outings. Much better, in my opinion, than most of what are considered 'dress shoes'. An exceptional value!

Too narrow for a medium width. Leather doesn't look good; I guess I don't really like the pebble look. Since it's so narrow, it's too tight sidewise & too constructive. Too uncomfortable to wear.

The Bostonian shoes are the best shoes! Very comfortable and nice looking. I just wish the heel can last for a long time or be replaceable if needed but look like these shoes can last about a year until the heel worn out. The top material is top notch and it's water proof. You can just walk in the rain and not worry about getting your shoes wet. How great is it?! Anyway, I hope this help. Thanks for reading.

squeaky sound when first worn.

I normally wear size 10.5 with thin dress socks, since I have to travel up north and like to wear thick wool socks, I ordered size 11. This size feels great and the shoes do not fit tight. I am glad I did. They feel great!
