These work!
The strips come in a sheet that you have to separate. Not difficult to pull apart. Arrange the strips in your tub (make up your own pattern) and the leave them there. A little masking tape helped keep them in place. One at a time, peel the backing off and put the strip back where it was. Press each with your fingers to set them in place. Do the same for each strip. Use something plastic and fairly stout (shampoo bottle lid) to really stitch each one in place. I bought the clear ones and could see the color change as I stitched each one. Let them set overnight. First shower was a surprise! They are fairly smooth, but definitely rough enough to keep my feet in place! Very reassuring! I've only had them in there a week, but so far, they have been very effective in keeping my feet put! Don't know how long they'll last or if they'll get moldy around the edges, but I can finally shower without worrying about falling!

Non-Slip tape for bathtubs
This is a basic necessity if you use your tub to take a shower. In my house the tubs have a steeper slant to the floor. I put this nonslip tape on the bottom in a pattern, and it works great. Why take a chance that you might fall while showering. This doesn't cost a lot and is very worth it. I recommend it.

Work and look great IF installed correctly
These made my deadly tub so much safer! I followed the installation instructions EXACTLY, and they are all still firmly stuck down after two and a half months! A few of them have a little discoloration from being touched during installation, but itโs not too noticeable. They are otherwise invisible. Some notes: 1. It took about a pack and a half to get good coverage on the whole bottom of the tub. 2. It was a bit difficult to apply them in an attractive design. I ended up laying them sticky side up in the pattern I wanted and carefully flipping them over. You can see them well enough that if Iโd stuck them down haphazardly, it would be noticeable. 3. If you have pets, be really careful not to let any hairs get stuck to the adhesive! Itโs really hard to get them off, and you donโt want to permanently trap hair onto your tub. It wonโt look good and may affect adhesion. 4. If youโre installing these for kids, the elderly, or someone with a physical disability, put down way more than you think you need and go for a horizontal pattern. The way I did it is fine for me, but there is considerable space between strips, so there may still be some slipping hazard for some people.

So simple to apply
I purchased these a full year ago. I'm the type of person that likes the idea of DIY, but then I find it difficult to start. I don't like to write in a clean journal or begin a project that I might get wrong. I shouldn't have waited so long. I cleaned the tub yesterday and rubbed it down with alcohol as suggested in the instructions and then got to work. It's basically a sticker kit with two sheets of rough surfaced stickers. The instructions are clear and they provide two design templates that you can use. I adapted mine a bit, but found the suggestions helpful. I wasn't satisfied with how I placed one of the stickers so I pulled it up and tried again. It seems just as secure as the rest. I purchased the clear stickers and I'm very satisfied with how it looks. I took a bath today and though I thought it might be uncomfortable, it was just fine. I can't speak to how this will wear over time, but the package has clear instruction on how to reach the manufacturer. That to me means that the manufacturer stands behind their product. It wasn't a big investment so if it needs to be reapplied in a year or two, that would be fine too. It's much nicer than a bath mat which I've always hated because they seem to get dirty and slimy even if removed to dry after every use. I feel much safer now showering. Slipping in the shower is very dangerous so if your shower is as slippery as mine, I suggest you purchase this item too. July 2016 - we've had these in our tub for over six months and they still look clean and nice. I wasn't certain that they would last and am very happy that they have. I just ordered another set for our other bathtub. It makes the tub much safer and I highly recommend them.

Good safety treads
I got this for my fiberglass shower stall. Easy to apply but the strips did not stick to my shower floor. I believe my floor has a rough surface and the strips adhesive did not stick well.

These treads were a cheap and easy solution to my laziness and they work perfectly
After taking a digger in the shower, I decided I needed to do something to get some traction in the tub. I didn't want to use a mat as I heard horror stories about things underneath them and didn't want to take the extra time to clean a mat on top of cleaning the shower. These treads were a cheap and easy solution to my laziness and they work perfectly. They don't stay wet and attract mold/scum like a mat would yet they add much needed friction to the tub floor. I haven't even had a close call since installing them. I've had them in for about 4 months now, no visible wear or fraying of edges. None have started to come up off the floor. I did follow the instructions for installation to the letter (cleaning with rubbing alcohol, etc.) so your results may vary if you don't follow the simple instructions for installation. I'd highly recommend these to anyone who doesn't want to fall on their butt in the shower but also doesn't want a gross, soggy mat getting moldy.

Reordered, so they work as non-slip
Weโve bought these before. We installed a new shower in our old house and the shower pan was slick as snot when wet. These worked great. They were clear going on, and had a good stick. The non-slip was great. But, they did turn pink underneath, even when I cleaned them with bleach (Clorox clean-up bleach spray). It was well water, so maybe mineral deposits? I donโt know. This pack was bought just to line the built i shelves in the shower insert in our new home. Itโs too slick and the shampoo just slides right off. I get that theyโre slanted to help the water to roll if and not mildew, but theyโre useless as a shelf at present. Iโll let you know if they turn pink in PA like they did in WA.

good insurance, requires maintenance
The non-slip daisies and butterflies were peeling off the shower floor after 35 years. I was glad until I discovered that the floor was treacherous. The most important place was where I stood to wash my hair and face, with eyes closed and no hand on the bar. Thatโs where I put a few of these strips to test. After cleaning as instructed, I used toilet paper to get the floor really dry. With soapy feet, I got good traction on the new treads, but I also got good traction where there were no treads. It seems a shower floor isnโt treacherous if itโs clean. After that, I would check the floor with my finger to see if it was squeaky clean. To clean a shower, I like to put a tablespoon of washing soda and a tablespoon of borax on the floor, put on rubber gloves, and get a wet cloth. Borax is a soft abrasive, and washing soda turns soap scum into soap. Letting it sit a few minutes can help. The old butterflies and daisies interfered with cleaning. The new strips arenโt as bad because theyโre thinner and the sides are straight. Major cause of slimy floor One day I slipped and stubbed my toe as I stepped in, where there were no treads. The floor was slimy. That baffled me. In more than a year of checks, it hadnโt felt slick. I was glad Iโd put treads on the most important area. I cleaned the floor, but the day after my next shower, I was slick again. I cleaned it again. This time it stayed clean. Between that last shower and the one before, Iโd soaked my feet in a gallon of water with perhaps a tablespoon of borax and two tablespoons of bleach. I do that occasionally to prevent athleteโs foot. Besides killing fungi, it โmeltsโ dead skin. It appears that dead skin on feet can leave nutrients to feed microbes that can make a shower floor slimy overnight, and that soaking feet can prevent this. Disappointing adhesive After more than a year, the end of one tread came loose. I cleaned the surfaces and used cement. It has held. After more than two years, the end of another tread came loose, and half of a third one came loose. In these cases, the adhesive remained stuck to the floor, and the tread came off the adhesive. Iโd call that a defect in the adhesive. I replaced one tread and cemented the end of the other. Shower shoes? Nonslip shower shoes are advertised. I wish I knew if any would work on a slimy floor. For now, treads are insurance, in case a floor is slimy and I fail to check with a finger or toe.

These strips really help to avoid slipping in the shower.
I followed the instructions and waited about 24 hours before using the shower after the strips had been installed. It has been a few months now and they are working great ! They are a great help to keep from slipping in the shower. They are staying down flat, not trying to curl up and lift. They look really good as you can hardly see them. I would recommend these to others. The kids might be disappointed though, no frogs, hippos, or hound dogs. Can ya dig it ?

Go for it - eyes closed
Arrived when stated and in good condition. Extremely easy to use. Happy to say, it has seen me safely through the monsoons as I had ordered 4 packets and fixed them on my staircase which is exposed to the rain. Normally, the steps are super slippery in the monsoons and I already fell downstairs twice, fortunately, without major injuries, although I must admit I saw a lot of stars (lol). I also placed some strips in the bathing room which was also slippery. Now I can have my bath in safety. The manufacturers claim that this product should be good for at least 3 years - if so - it's value for money. I'm really happy with this product. I must admit it is pretty expensive as I spent over Rs.6,000/- to make my staircase waterproof, but worth it. It's supposed to be transparent but isn't really coz you can see the dirt on it but it is easy to scrub off. I recommend this product with 5 stars.
