Great for the environment
I hope this email finds you well! I wanted to share my thoughts on the compostable bags I recently purchased. I know we've been discussing eco-friendly alternatives, so I thought you might be interested in hearing about my experience with these bags.First off, let me start by saying that I was really excited to try out these compostable bags. I've been making an effort to reduce my environmental footprint, and finding sustainable options for everyday items is a big part of that. These bags seemed like a great solution for reducing plastic waste, so I decided to give them a go.The first thing I noticed about these bags is that they are made from plant-based materials, which is a huge plus. They are completely free of any harmful chemicals or toxins, which gives me peace of mind knowing that they won't harm the environment when they break down. Plus, they are certified as compostable, so I can be confident that they will break down properly in a composting facility. In terms of durability, I was pleasantly surprised. These bags are just as sturdy as traditional plastic bags, which is impressive considering they are made from plant-based materials. I've used them for carrying groceries, storing food in the fridge, and even for picking up after my dog during walks. They haven't torn or leaked on me yet, which is a huge win in my book. One thing I did notice, though, is that these bags have a slightly different texture compared to regular plastic bags. They feel a bit more "crinkly" and less smooth, but it's a minor difference that doesn't bother me at all. In fact, it's a small price to pay for the environmental benefits they provide.Another thing worth mentioning is the price. These compostable bags do tend to be slightly more expensive than regular plastic bags. However, I believe the additional cost is justified considering the positive impact they have on the environment. Plus, I've found that I can reuse these bags multiple times before they start to show signs of wear and tear, so they actually end up being more cost-effective in the long run.Overall, I am extremely happy with my decision to switch to compostable bags. They are a convenient and eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastic bags, and I feel good knowing that I am taking a small step towards reducing plastic waste. If you're looking for a sustainable option, I highly recommend giving these bags a try.I hope you find this review helpful! Let me know if you have any questions or if there's anything else you'd like to know about these compostable bags.

Very heavy duty.
Great when you cleaning out heavier items to toss.

Some of the Bags slit at the folds
I bought 360 of the RELI 2-4 Gal size 2 years ago to line my counter top compost bin. Seems like most of the time it's at the beginning of the roll that a bag will come off the roll in strips. Then,of course, the occasional bag that's ripped is useless. Some of the bags leak. Seems this is also an intermittent problem - doesn't happen but maybe too many times in a roll. Maybe I just got a shipment that had missed the quality control check. Looks like the problem may have been fixed because I don't see any other reviewers who have that complaint. I wish I had not ordered so many of them. Was sort of a lifetme supply for me.

Strong
I like these big heavy duty bags. They are nice and thick... you can fill up several smaller trash bags and put them all in here so that you will only have to put out 1 BIG bag on trash day and you can be sure it will not tear or break, blow away in strong winds, or come undone.

Waste of money
I bought these garbage bags as I have been trying to be more environmentally conscience. I was getting my recycled plastic garbage bags from Grove and they were excellent but due to supply issues they kept being sold out so I researched recycled garbage bags here on Amazon. I had previously purchased a brand here that I loved but could not find them this time so I made the decision to try this brand. Many of the reviews were very positive but there were those that warned about the thiness. I chose to ignore those reviews and wish I had not. I have to double and triple bag my garbage due to cereal boxes tearing the bags. Only takes a corner on a box to rip these bags. The only use I have found for them is cleaning up dry leaves but do not try to compress the leaves to get more in or they will tear! My recommendation would be to spend the extra money and buy a name brand. You will use less plastic since you only need one bag and you will come out even on your money as you will not be wasting bags to double or triple your garbage. FYI my garbage pickup provider has a 15lb. Weight limit on bagged garbage so the weight is not the issue.

They Changed :(
I bought these twice. The first time, they were great. Nice and strong. Perfect for what we need. This latest purchase, they had greatly reduced the quality of the bags. They are much thinner, a completely different texture. The bags easily get holes in them now.
