I live in Virginia can I plant one outside and it won’t die?

I planted one outside in Florida, zone 9, last Sept/Oct. We get some frost here and it has not died yet. Leafed out, has grown, and looks good.

Arrived happy and healthy!

This plant arrived quickly, and was obviously well cared for, with dark green leaves with firm texture, obviously in very healthy shape. I chose this supplier after reading some negative reviews of a different supplier. I highly recommend this one.

lost all its leaves

it looked good on arrival except had already lost some leaves, soon all the leaves fell off. i planted it anyway, because the roots looked but not sure if it will come back.
