Easy to assemble
My son loves all the pokemon construction toys. The mega construct is ease to assemble, not that many pieces and it looks exactly like the picture. I find them a bit pricey for the play time they give

129 small pieces-possibly lengthy construction for Pokemon fans!
In the box are 129 pieces and a detailed instruction leaflet to aid construction. I had expected with a name like Mega construx and an recommended age of six years this would be a product with large pieces, but no these are small, same as regular Lego sized blocks. The blocks come in small bags but they don’t contain all the pieces for say Froakie or Dedenne but a random selection of parts. Tip the blocks out on a large table and use the instruction manual to work out what is what. My child (now over 20 and still a keen Pokemon fan) took 30-40mins to construct the piece. I’m sure there are a few 6 year olds who might manage this in their own, but after their done give them a screw driver and flat pack furniture for them to run up for you! I think 8-10 is an age where a child will be able to construct this on their own or with little help.Once built the product is like a small produce stall, and is fun to play with. Move it in a certain way, and well it throws the stall top up, and it shoot bits of brick shaped food around the room! (cat was not impressed, other pets/younger siblings might consider this a good game to fetch and return, hopefully not eat…)The figures are jointed and are moveable to an extent, very easy to move them too much and have a limb come off!Although the product like most toys comes in an over sized box its not ideal for storage, its not wide enough to put the constructed piece in once finished, large chunks are fine but a new storage container may be required for those kids who want to take out and just play with it and not rebuild.Over all the product is recommended for Pokemon fans who also like construction

Great for Pokemon fan
Great for my 8 year old Pokemon fan. This is not official Lego brand, but a very similar style of bricks and of a decent enough quality. The Pokemon theme and likeness is great, and it comes with clear instructions for the build. Great set for a Pokemon fans collection

Not Lego but cosmetically it's sound
This is a good build but can't withstand a decent play once it's built..... So it's a cool idea but not quite as good as Lego

Catch them all, build your Pokemon World.
Note: This Froakie vs Dedenne lego set does not come with chikorita or cyndaquil and must be bought separately. This is only to showcase the different Pokemon that are available by Mega Construx.Don’t let the tiny size of this thing fool you, it takes a bit of time to build due to the many pieces it comes with.At first I became overwhelmed by the vast amount of small individual pieces which came in this lego pokemon play-set, but by the time I was finished it was a relief. Each lego play-set takes approx 24-25 steps to build. Inside you will find a manual which clearly illustrates how to build it. The different individual pieces come tightly sealed in little plastic bags.I advise putting all of the pieces into individual cups before starting as they are so small and easy to lose. They are all mixed in the plastic bags, some are altogether for the specific building step and some are not, therefore finding the parts can be bothersome. The legos connect easily, however they can become a hassle when for people with big hands.Your child should have no problem though, although as clear as the instructions are a child may struggle to build this. For such a small lego set, it may be difficult to catch them all as they are on the expensive side.Overall, I would recommend this if you are able to afford it and if your child is into Pokemon and would enjoy building a land full of Pokemon.

It's Pokemon but
I thought my Pokemon-mad 7-year-old grandson would love this set but I think he was under-wowed. Inside the box are 4 separate plastic building bags. Personally, I think this is a good idea and I will tell you why… boredom! Maybe it’s the age, but the span of attention is about 10 decent minutes, even less. So, building one bag to begin with and coming back to it later is actually a good idea. 124 pieces for this age is maybe on the “too many pieces” side. They grow bored so quickly and start off enthusiastically but soon the excitement dies down and they’re on the lookout for something else to play. Even once it was built (over 3 days)!! I noticed for a Pokemon addict he didn’t seem to go back to it, or that interested in it but instead kept telling me how many millions and trillions of Pokemon cards he has (started wondering if he even liked the set to be honest). But that is why in my opinion I think this kit is for an older kid, the pieces are quite small as well and I think they just so much more enjoy free-building as opposed to following the exact rules. (That being said, its all age and ability dependant). The manual booklet is well laid out and colourfully illustrated but they don’t even look at it (at 7) and rely on you to figure it out. Just because it says Pokemon on the box doesn’t mean its going to appeal to all Pokemon loving kids. Maybe he will still play with it more but at the moment (maybe with the good weather and outdoor play) it has taken a bit of a backseat.

Come i lego
Ottimo prodotto ad un buon prezzo se confrontato con i lego. La compatibilità con quest'ultimi è perfetta. Leggermente più complicati da montare.
