Outstanding book
So, I watched the HBO film version before I read this, but it is outstanding. I know Kramer essentially wrote it about himself, but it's very emotionally charged, and every character seemed to have their own fleshed-out personalities. I highly recommend this book.

Good historical play about the early days when people were dropping dead left and right and nobody knew why.
I'm giving it four stars instead of five because it's so dated, but I'm giving it that many because it's historical. I was there, and I remember all this stuff happening at the time. It's real and it belongs out and about as reference.

Necessary reading for everyone.
So incredible.Such a good depiction of something that still has not been talked about as much as it deserves.

a must read for any person in the LGBT community and allies.
As a young gay man, I was born after the AIDS scare of the 80s but his still brought tears to my eyes several times. Amazing play!

She talked my ear off about how much she loved it. Now
I ordered this book for my daughter. She talked my ear off about how much she loved it. Now, she wants the sequel.

Captivating
Although now an "aged" piece, this work captures the panic, frustration, and almost futility that gay men felt as they wrestled to get anyone to give consideration to what was going on in their lives and the health issues they faced with the then unknown dread disease that was claiming lives.

Genial !!
Men Origins: Wolverine), Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory), Jonathan Groff (Glee), etc. :)
