American Tourister Fieldbrook II Softside Upright Luggage Set, Black, 2-Piece Set (tote/21)

I bought these for my son to use on a school trip. First thing I noticed was how light yet sturdy they are. The material is tough and thick enough that, if you pack properly, there shouldn't be a worry about items breaking. The handle slides out easily for rolling then locks into place with a satisfying snick and no wrestling with it. The wheels turn smoothly, too, so you don't have to fight with your bag when trying to rush through an airport. The larger suitcase was perfect for a week-long trip, while the smaller suitcase would be great for a shorter one. The carry-on bag looked at first to be on the smaller side but I was amazed at how much we were able to fit in it! All in all, these are excellent pieces of luggage at a very good price. I'm quite happy with my purchase!

I got this for my son who was traveling out of the country for 8 days and didn't want to check bags. It was the right dimensions for carry on and personal bags. He fit a lot of clothes and even had room for souvenirs. It is sturdy and stylish and came back in the same condition as new! I bought other brand first and returned it because this was better quality. American Tourister lived up to its reputation!

The value of the set for the sale price was excellent. These are basic suitcases that are durable for average use. I specifically bought these because they are not the spinner type suitcases. I personally find the spinners are much faster to break when traveling via air. The quality of this set is good, they are not high end, life time lasting suitcases, but for the price I expect to use them a number of times over a few years and that is good for me. I have used them twice already and they held up well. The sizes are perfect for a typical male traveler. Great buy. I'd buy again.

Great little luggage set that made it from LAX to Newark and return from Buffalo to Chicago to LAX in one piece! At first the low price made me skeptical of the quality of the luggage. But the new luggage size limits of United Airlines meant we had to replace a perfectly good set with something smaller. The carry on and personal item were just the right size for United. The check in luggage was smaller than we wanted but my wife said it would be enough. And it was. It carried enough clothes for her for a 9 day trip to New York and Niagara Falls Canada. And she liked the color! As mentioned it made the trip thru some major airports with no damage. How long will they last and how many trips can they take? Don't know. But for the price we were glad it made this one just fine. We have enough confidence to take it on another trip. Just a side note. United Airlines posted on their website the new size limits and the fees incurred for larger sizes and overweight items. On blog sites there were horror stories of the large excess fees incurred by travelers. It was enough to make us buy new luggage. But, our luggage was weighed but never measured at any airport check-in. And I saw some really big carry ons being stuffed into the overhead bins. So, you can take a chance with your old luggage or buy an inexpensive new set. It's up to you.

This review comes 5 years after purchase. This luggage is still going strong in spite of many cross country trips. You can easily pack a full weekend in here if you are plus-sized. You can likely fit a longer trip's worth of clothing if you are smaller. Fits many airlines carry-on item limit. It only rolls in a single direction which isn't as nice as newer omnidirectional wheels, but nothing has broken on my luggage and nothing has torn. The handle on the main luggage is not as sturdy as I would like, but again, it hasn't broken at all. I absolutely recommend people purchasing this set.

Bought it in 2020 and still in good condition. Not a frequent traveler. Maybe a couple trips a year, but still works

It seemed like a nice suitcase. The very first time I traveled with it .... it ripped down the front. Luckily the inner lining kept everything inside the outside pocket. I was not happy. The airline wanted me to leave the suitcase and then come back to pick it up after repairs. I dont live by the airport!! Think I was more mad at the airline than the suitcase! Its still ripped... not sure what to do with it.

Traveled all over Europe with these for 3 weeks. They are prefect! Great price, perfect size for on and off of trains and planes, and very durable. You can spend an extra $200 on a different bag if you want to, but you aren’t getting any more than you get with this affordable bag.

The photo shows a 4 pieces set. When it arrived it is only a 2 piece. I should have looked at the reviews prior to buying, as I'm not the only one. Its only a small wheeled luggage and carry bag. So disappointing 😒
