desertcart.com : Staedtler Textsurfer Dry Highlighter Pencil 128 64 Drawing for Writing Sketching Inkjet,Paper,Copy, fax(Pack of 4) (Color Mix-4 Pencils) by Staedtler : Office Products Review: Great for using for my Bible - Great highlighter for my Bible. Easy to use. Review: The STAEDTLER dry highlights are a great value! - The STAEDTLER dry highlighters are exactly what I’d hoped for. I travel often and must sometimes work while on the road. These dry highlighters are great! No fear of them drying out. No bleeding into or through the paper. The colors are bright enough to see easily and you never have to worry that you’ll run out of the “ink” since you can see the pencil getting smaller as you use it. In all, this purchase was well worth the money!!

Better than marker highlighter.
Not to pale. No smearing. Works great. No more dryed out marker highlighter.

Good dry pencils.
Prompt delivery. Would prefer one color be blue, others are great. Good size of pencils. Pencils are odd shape of triangle. Do not know, yet, how I will be able to sharpen it.

Road-tested: These are the best!
I've bought these since '22. As you can see from the photo of my 4 remaining Staedtlers, I use them to the nub. I purchased a Japanese brand to compare to these, my favorite. The Staedtler pencils coated the page far better, laying down a pigment-laden, graphite-like line whereas the competitor's line was lurching and waxy. The pencil sharpener pictured in the photograph is from Europe and does an acceptable job sharpening these uniquely shaped pencils. The sharpener comes in blue or red; you can find it by searching, "sharpener for triangular pencils and wax crayons." Have fun with these. They beat out gel highlighters by a country mile, too, for book reading because they won't stick your pages together.

Highlight what's important
These pastel highlighters are very good, and they do not penetrate through the pages.

THE BEST-AND-EASY TO SHARPEN
I bought both these Staedtler and the Koh-I-Noor dry highlighters so I could compare. Absolutely NO CONTEST, the Staedtler highlighters are far superior. I like the fatter pencil but it will require you purchase an appropriate sharpener for the larger size and you can get these on Amazon. These pencils are easy to hold because of a triangular shape but don’t worry you can easily sharpen them in a round hole but the initial starting twist for a new pencil is a bit stiff then fine after that. These pencils are softer, I think or at least they lay down better on paper and imitate a regular wet highlighter better as the color is very light and fluorescent. With the Koh-I-Noor the line goes down irregularly with gloppy bits on the page and a harsher line - more of a line than a highlight. Also, they don’t sharpen very well (break a lot).
