Great socks
Good toe socks are the best socks I have owned. The are really comfortable and they fits great. The quality is really great.I highly recommend gold toe socks.

These socks are sized for men, but I absolutely love them!
About 10 years ago, I discovered several brand new pairs of these in a thrift store. I'd never seen them before, and so I didn't know the brand. They looked very well made; nicely woven, nice weight. I bought them and they have lasted for 10 years and when I got down to my last pair, I started shopping for cotton socks and...tada! They're Gold Toes!I highly recommend these comfortable, well made socks! However, I will not order the fluffy ones again.

Fluffy?
Can't find original Gold Toe socks. Bought these to add/replace Goldtoe socks I've had for years. The new socks are taller and not has soft (fuzzy) as previous socks. Not bad but just not as good as the originals.

Great Fit, Quality, and Value! My favorite socks for over 20 years!
I have been using Gold Toe socks for over 20 years. I stocked up at an outlet store about 5 years ago, and had not needed to buy any since then. I was concerned at some of the reviews I read indicating a reduction in quality of Gold Toe's manufacturing. But I love the fit of their extended sizes socks and my experience had always been great. So I ordered a three pack to replace some of my socks that were wearing out after 5+ years of use. So far, they are great. Same great fit and comfort, worn and laundered 3 times, and no noticeable change. If Gold Toe had a temporary drop in quality, they must have corrected it.I know the regular sizes are supposed to be one size fits all up to size 12 shoes. But I recommend the "Extended Sizes" for size 11 or larger. They fit me great! I won't buy any other sock for regular daily use.

The whole cotton fluffies experience has become iffy
In the latest installment of the cotton Fluffies drama, I received 3 black and 3 brown pairs as requested but there was a small disappointment with each package. The black pairs came labeled "75% cotton" though the product description currently says 86%. The brown pairs came labeled "81% cotton" - maybe that's what the product description said when I purchased them - but they are knee socks - OK I can live with that though it's kind of annoying.Unfortunately there's no substitute for someone who wants reasonably thick but basically cotton socks, not synthetic. Land's End has some mostly cotton socks that are thicker than most other brands but don't have as much cushion as these do, and are more expensive.Below is an earlier review I wrote on one set I received that was mislabeled as cotton. It was probably just a regular but non-cotton Fluffie version. There's half the problem right there - Gold Toe makes both cotton and non-cotton versions - sometimes I see the acrylic fluffies in stores. I haven't seen the cotton ones in stores in years.......No way. I've been wearing Gold Toe cotton Fluffies most days of my life since the 1980s. I just got the black sized 6 - 12 1/2 with the black cardboard label saying Heritage Collection. There's a white sticker on the back that says Cotton Fluffie 3 PrNow the white label says, 81% cotton18% nylon 1% spandex. The product page says 86% cotton but I figure it is what it is so I open the plastic bag.It does not look like a Fluffy and it doesn't feel like one either. It's way stretchier, and the lines running up and down the sock are different, they're narrower. I could be mistaken but these seem like a lot of socks I can get at the store. I specifically wanted the kind I've been wearing for a while. I think there are acrylic fluffies that I never buy, maybe these are them. That's just a guess. Back they go.

YIKES!
I have worn the original Gold Toe Fluffies white socks for years. They are/were absolutely great. The substance of the substantial cotton ribbing was sufficient to keep them up without the rubber thingy at the top squeezing off the blood & lymphatic tissue in the legs. They also lasted a very long time. I bought enough so that I could wear them every day & have a 3 weeks supply on hand. A few pair would wear out, and I would replace them. I am very rough on socks.I read some bad reviews for the current version that were made with polyester. When I found I could still get the Fluffies in cotton, I bought a bunch. BIG MISTAKE. I think it is a crime what they have done to the best pair of casual socks on the market. The socks are fluffy alright. But, it is a completely different sock. There is probably half as much total cotton in the new model. It seems that I can feel the individual threads when I walk sock foot across a hardwood floor. Plus the tight rubber thingy at the top cuts off the circulation in my legs. Whoops, sorry. I'm not a vascular surgeon. Perhaps I should just say that it pinches my leg, and my leg swells above the top of my socks. If you are used to the ones Gold Toe used to make, look elsewhere for something similar. This ain't it.

Not exactly fluffy
These fit as expected, they will probably wear well, judging from the feel of them, but they’re not soft or fluffy as their name suggests. I wanted some socks in a brown colour and there were very few I could find so I tried these expecting they would be soft soles. They are not.
