We replaced the old casters and this one is great. Sized just perfect and plate worked just right.

The wheel locks work well. Other products that I looked at weren’t so favorable in this area. These work well and clamp down on the round tire itself. I have a 1200 pound sheet metal brake as well as a shear on two sets of 4. Both roll well and easy to maneuver. I went with extra capacity in case I was rolling and hit a rock or ledge in my shop. I didn’t want the caster to up and die on me. I believe the extra money over what I could have gotten was worthwhile!

I used these on a dolly I built to move my 1400 lb slide-in camper into our garage for storage when not in use. The wheels made moving and repositioning a sinch demonstrating the castors were designed and manufactured for heavy loads. The braking mechanism is effective and easily placed in "on" and "off" positions.

I needed to be able to move my shooting table so I can keep the grass cut. Dragging it from place to place was just tearing my table up so am trying this out to see if it works, so far so good. These casters do raise my table up by 6 in but they're big enough to have good stability so that does not seem to be a problem. So far so good. My only problem has been one zerk fitting on one Castor that does not keep the grease inside your bearing. But that should be an easy fix. If it becomes a problem I will come back and let you know. Happy shooting! Update:. Well the weather is starting to turn and it is time to put the table away for the winter. So I bought two eye hooks and have bolted them to the table legs. Hooked a chain to the eye hooks on one end and connected the other end to my Bad Boy Mower. Then I pulled the table approximately 100 yards to my storage building. Worked like a charm. Very satisfied with these casters.

Bought these for a chassis cart I built for a tube chassis rock crawler project. They installed easy enough, height tolerances are good so the cart is nice and flat, and it rolls around very easily, even over small debris on the shop floor like zip-tie pieces and metal chips. They also do not collect debris like metal chips or grinder dust, which is nice. With a heavier object on them, the locks need to be pressed down pretty hard so the wheels won't roll through the locks, but they hold pretty well otherwise. The only thing I'd warn against is that the bearings are exposed with an open groove visible. They come dry, and need greased before use. If you over-grease, or do not spin the casters while greasing to spread the grease evenly, the grease will just push out of the channel. If using in a very dusty are wet environment, something with sealed bearings would be the better option. I have grinder dust sticking to the exposed grease on mine so far.

Seem durable

My workbench isn't that heavy, maybe 300-400 lbs loaded. But my floor is uneven, with warped flooring, and it has an irregular slope. This means 1) I need big wheels and 2) they need to take the bench on two wheels as it negotiates the slope. I'd been forced to leave it in a corner when it had 4" cheapies from The Depot (allegedly 275# capacity), but with these it moves like a charm. I'm delighted.
