So I bought this fuel hoping to use it with my indoor little fireplace thingy, and lo and behold they sent me the wrong fuel that is not compatible with my unit. I was so bummed, especially when I realized I couldn't send it back through the post because it is considered a "dangerous/flammable" liquid. Upon contacting the company, I was delighted when they told me they would send me the correct fuel AND refund my money AND let me keep what they had already sent me. Booyah!Once the fuel did arrive, it was pretty awesome. The cap is touted as a safety pour cap or some nonsense, but I think it just makes a mess and pours smoother without the cap. Other than that, the fuel is as advertised--no smell, no soot, and a pretty nice flame once it gets going. This is my first experience with an indoor fuel, so I can't speak to the longevity, but it doesn't seem to last too long. I get about 4 hours on almost half a bottle so it's pretty costly.Overall though, good product and even better customer service. Will purchase from again.

Pro: Burn time seems to last longer than those other brands. I've used some of the more popular brands but this Smartfuel burns at least half hour longer. Heat output is excellent also. I hardly recommend any products once i review them, but i will recommend this Smartfuel.Con:. None

I bought this for a tabletop fire pit. It is great - has smell and thickness of rubbing alcohol when you pour it but has no odor while burning. There is a stopper with holes on the top that helps control the pouring so it doesn't overfill or spill.

I like that it doesn't emit a strong odor like other brands I've tried have. Simple, easy to use. Just wish it had a better spout on it. It can get everywhere. Overall, I like the product. Fairly priced. I just wish it would burn longer.

Great for indoor fireplaces. Living in a city we miss being able to have a crackling fire, this fuel really helps scratch that itch and looks great.Pros:• Puts out a LOT of heat, more than you would expect.• At first the flames are not all that impressive, mostly a cool blue flame. But let it warm up for a little and it is really fantastic. The flames jump and dance in a really nice way with all of the reds and yellows that you expect.Note:• It is a little tricky to get the fuel into the well of many fireplaces without spilling any. You will need a thin funnel in most applications.
