I had Ring pro, and Ring and subscription annually. I am always seeking any alternatives without a fee.I tried this doorbell because of its battery capacity. There are lots of wireless doorbells here;however, the one using 3x 18650 Li batteries is rare;If your set doesn't contain batteries, you MUST have a suitable length of 18650 batteries for this doorbell.In conclusion, nothing wrong with this bargain doorbell, but you don't expect it can work as well as Ring or Nest doorbell.

It does everything it said it does. Local storage, does not need batteries, hooks directly to door bell leads. The biggest problem is it does not work well with WiFi. Works great when you close to WiFi box, once I put it out side it’s has bad reception. It’s the unit it self. All my regular products I use outside works great with full bars. “ also I had the ring, ring works great, the problem with ring is after the one month of free video they start charging money. That’s why I switched to this generic unit. It has no monthly charges. Unfortunately it just has bad WiF reception. Just FYI it work great at friends house with the WiFi box was literally 4 feet away.

This unit is the 4th one I've ordered of 4 different brands (the first 3 brands were much more pricey that did not work) and this is working. Easy to connect and install. The only problem is that it has motion delay. I know the deer and the rabbits are setting it off, but they are long gone before the playback recording. I can't change the settings to capture at the time of motion detection.Yet, I was out running errands and my phone alerted me of motion, and it was UPS making a package delivery. I was able to record at the time and it was stored in my video gallery on my phone. (Only as a test) That situation worked perfectly. I like the unit, but wish the playbacks were more accurate.

I can't get connected because it seem that this door bell company is in agreeable with all internet company. You have to have a very fast internet in order for this doorbell to work. I'm the only one in my home I don't need to get a fast internet. This product should be able to work on any speed internet. Don't buy it if you have a standard internet at your home. you will wasting your money. 2 thumps down

I like the build quality of this camera for the price. Picture quality is bit bad at night. The talk feature and app is great.

If for any reason WiFi goes off, it will not allow reconnection.

It's very easy to install. Works perfectly. After using this couple of days here are the key things i notied.1) Two Way communication2) Loop Recording3) Delete the vidoes which are expired.4) Best motion detection5)Low Power( The Batterys are not included) uses less power6)Less Price7) Support multiple Devices.One thing i going to less is less expensive affortable ring bell.

I tried this product rather than the ring because of the price. The motion detection is real sensitive. The night camera works extremely well. I have three batteries in mine but it works with just two. I would definitely will choose a package that has the batteries and SD card with it unless you already have some. When playing back videos of someone ringing the doorbell, for some reason my voice does not get recorded properly..... It almost makes a "Charlie Brown teacher" type noise. Because I travel a lot, I have purchased one to leave in the motel room to keep the maids honest. NOT WATER PROOF.....
