my lights turned off after 10 seconds is that normal? Also when I close and reopen my door it doesn’t turn on

This is how your car is designed. Even with original lights they do not stay on if you hold your door open for 5 min. They automatically turn off. In order to turn back on, you need to close the door wait a few seconds. And it will reset. You are noticing it now because you are paying more attention.

Does it work for a 2012 Charger R/T?

I wouldn’t see why not, as long as as you have the puddle lights on your car.

What is the process to file a warranty complaint? Purchased two sets for front and rear doors. Both have failed.

Send an email or message through Amazon to the company. They will send new ones out quickly. I had the same issue.
