Good product

This black maca tastes delicious in cooked oatmeal with fresh fruit, yogurt, and a little oat/soy/almond/whatever milk. The maca makes it taste slightly sweet, in a mild way that isn't really quite as noticeable when it is mixed elsewhere. It also mixes in really well. I think I notice an improvement in mood and energy, but like most adaptogens it is subtle and won't make you feel like you have just railed an 8-ball of cocaine. I enjoy it quite a bit and would recommend it to anybody else who is interested in trying it.

I've never had Maca before so I don't have a comparison. However, this product smells very fresh. It smells like a root (also kinda like doritos lol). It mixes well in smoothies & that's all I've done with it. I haven't taken it long enough to notice any difference. The only thing I wish I had known prior to buying is that maca is part of the cruciferous vegetable family. It's related to broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, etc. I have a hard time digesting these vegetables and maca is no different. After putting it in my smoothie I experienced some bloating and gas. nothing crazy but it was a tad uncomfortable. To no fault of the company or product. Just my dumb insides. Anyway, I really like this company. They give back to the people of Lima so all in all I'm fine with my purchase.

Good stuff. Seems legit. Price is nice and they say some profits go to help peruvian kids so thats something. Think raw as opposed to gelatanized can givw me gas til i get used to it though. And i think the mixed kind as opposed to just one color might have better more noticeable effects. But this still seems to work. Usually i use it for manual labor, especially in the hot or cold. Works really well then. Not as noticeable when, like lately, im not too physically active

I haven't noticed any increase in energy or focus when taking it. I've taken it with and with out other natural herbs and nothing out of the ordinary. Taste is great and smells pretty good. Mixing it in with my Mushroom coffee makes a great blend. And I've added it to my smoothies as well.

This is a great addition to my morning smoothie. This one is not as strong tasting as some other brands I have tried. I will be buying more.
