Fits
I now understand the whole Festool attraction. Yes, their tools and parts are expensive but they work. This fit perfectly to attach a third-party vacuum hose to my Kapex and is a well designed attachment. It doesn’t just twist in but rather has a locking system that secures it to the hose. It works perfectly, no tape, glue or re-engineering required.

Great for Bosch 35mm Hose
I have had a bosch 35mm hose forever and always struggled hooking the end up to my Festool CT accessories. This is expensive but worked great, still much cheaper than a Festool 36mm hose.

Description not accurate
I recently bought a Festool Domino tool and was looking for a way to connect it to my Shop Vac or my existing central vac system. The Domino instructions specify that the tool should only be used with a dust collection system.What they don't mention is that Festool do not want you to connect it to any dust system other than their own (expensive) setup. Be warned Festool want to make it difficult for you to enjoy using the tool without their brand dust extractor, by means of not marketing a connector that fits the domino, and by means of excluding that information from the advertising/marketing of the Domino tool.Poor marks for deception. There are workarounds, but really?

Expensive but high quality and gets the job done
I used this to replace the end on the Bosch VAC005 Vacuum Hose to connect to my Festool TS75 track saw. Makes for a much cheaper alternative to the Festool hose.

Fit is a little wonky
I have a couple of these and the fit of this one is a little wonky. This one leaks abit. The others don't

Works Great with the BOSCH VACOO5 Hoses.
Screws right on and allows you to connect any shop vac with a 2 1/2" connection to connect with a Festool Saw with 36mm dust port. SAVES MONEY!!! I connected my new "orange brand" wet dry vac to the bosch hose and put this Festool coupling on it. Works great!

Attention à bien lire le descriptif ! car c'est le manchon entre le tuyau et l'aspirateur .
En effet après l'achat d'une magnifique ponceuse Festool je voulais la partie qui se fixe sur la machine entre le tuyau et cette dernière et non le manchon entre le tuyau et l'aspirateur donc erreur d'achat , désolé , faites attention à cela .

Perfect fit on the end of a Metabo 35mm red anti-static dust extractor hose
Allows perfect connection to my Festool TS 55 REBQ plunge saw. When plugged into the pass through socket on my Metabo dust extractor, when I start my saw it starts the dust extractor. Over priced for what it is, but it does the job
