Touche Bakery Meringues, Chocolate Chip, 3.52 Ounce

These cookies are apparently made with very coarse sugar. This gave them an unpleasant grainy texture that did not melt easily on the tongue like other meringue cookies do. Also, there was very little chocolate flavor. If your cookies arrived pulverized into a gritty dust like mine did, it's hardly worth the effort of opening the packaging to taste them!

Not the right texture and the taste is only okay. I was looking to replace the meringues that Trader Joes no longer carried. These are definitely not the answer.And while it may seem a little odd that this matters, they were clearly bounced around much as their tip and distinct swirl appearance were absent. The taste is far more sugary than the meringues I'm used to which usually have a melt in the mouth quality.

They're good when you have a craving for chocolate, but you're trying to watch your calorie intake!

Tasteless punishment for those suffering from nut allergies. I know it is possible to make good tasting cookies that are nut free...this is not one of them.

Nothing seems to match Miss Meringue in flavors, but these aren't bad.

Merengues are supposed to be Glutenfree - they just had [email protected] add wheat to these too.

They arrived mostly broken. The taste is rather meh. Not much flavor and the texture is odd. Not worth the money and would not buy again.
