These little heaters really perform. If you are drilling a cavity in which to insert them be sure to use an 8 mm diameter drill. A 5/16” (.3125”) diameter is a couple of thousandths too small. They need a heat sink to draw the 100 watts or they will glow orange an quickly burn out.

Better quality then i thought they would be. 1 was defective out of the 3 but overall not a bad purchase.

I don't have a way to tell how hot they get or check that they are actually 100W, but using two of them to make a heating spoon for dosing bee hives with oxalic acid worked great. Takes 4.5min to fully boil off the acid.

These heaters Elementswork excellent no problems
