Good Bands, Workout is better, not sure about durability
I have worked out off and on with Bands for many years. I have been using Bodylastic tubular bands the whole time. And, I love them. But, I was poking around the inter webs looking for variations of leg exercises with bands and stumbled across this jacked dude (James Grage) on YouTube who had a lot of videos and spent as much time talking about the science, or the why and how the muscles worked, in addition to the exercises, and he was using these flat, loop bands. I ended up wasting a Sunday watching a lot of his videos, the old ones when he was slinging iron, and the new ones, where he was all in on bands. His kind of nerdy style sold me. So off to Amazon to find and try them. There was a $20 special on the bands and the TA2 program, so I jumped on it. I am on week 6 of the program and I like the bands, love the program. There are unique exercises, and my leg day is harder now then it has ever been. Grage as your online personal trainer is great. If you don’t want to read the rest of the ramble, just get them with TA2. It’s a worthy investment. That said, if you are into analysis paralysis, want to know the potential risks, or you work for Undersun and want to improve the product, there are few little issues to be aware of. First, you MUST wear gloves when you work out. No cushy comfortable handles like the Bodylastic. The bands will murder your hands. I have been using some cheap costco light weight fleece winter gloves with silicone grips across the palms, and they work fine. I imagine any old glove you have laying around that will provide a little grip will work, but i suggest getting one that has the touchscreen fingers. I use an IPad to both watch the workout videos and record my progress. Taking gloves off and on, or using my nose on the touch screen are not ideal. Undersun sells some branded gloves I might buy just to support the company, but it’s entirely unnecessary. Also, because you don’t have handles, some exercises with the heavier bands require a fair amount of grip strength and/or the bands crush your hands. I miss the handles, but it’s often the handles that prevent you from getting the range of motion you need. Second, month one is all no anchor exercises. Nearly all are good and unique, but a couple are goofy, and I couldn’t wait to get to month 2 to get into the anchored exercises. But, using the door anchor is less than ideal. Why you ask dear reader? Well, it’s not the anchor itself or exercising from it, but trying to remove a latex hitch knot cinched tight on a piece of nylon webbing is... less than ideal. I imagine if you have a smith machine or something similar to latch onto it’s not too bad, but the door anchor experience is not great. I have been using the Bodylastic door anchor instead, which is a bigger anchor with a larger piece of neoprene that helps a little. Third, It’s been six weeks since I did it, but there is something goofy about buying on Amazon and then getting signed up on their website, but I don’t remember it fully... something to do with emailing the company to get access, which doesn’t make a ton of sense. I DO remember that it sucked to get the bands, want to work out immediately, and have to wait a day to be able to log in. They need to fix this. Fourth, the video and audio quality of all the workouts is great and Grage is the truth when it comes to talking about the how and why. But the website has a few weird things. For instance, you can’t stay logged in. I have to log on every time I use the website which is annoying. I’d kill for one of those little check boxes that says “stay logged in”. Maybe it’s my browser settings, but I don’t think it is. Fifth, I am curious about the durability. So far so good, but rubbing on the nylon webbing of the door anchor, then having to pull the knot apart after the fact will surely stress the latex. I will have to watch it closely. Finally, and this is ultra picky, but while I love all things orange, I wish the bands were all black with orange lettering instead of orange because they would do a better job of hiding the black rubs that come from the door anchor or the various gloves I have tried. I imagine just like the bodylastics I can use some tire cleaner to clean them up and prolong their life, but it would be cool if they were black. Ok, if you made it this far, it might sound like I didn’t like them. But the total package of the bands and the TA2 programs are 5 stars and I recommend it.

Exquisite Agony
Like many others in 2020, I've been shackled to my home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The gyms closed, weather was iffy for running for a good long while, and there was little hope of finding exercise equipment floating about. Target was empty. Dicks was bare. eBay was empty. Where those little iron weights were available, they suddenly became more valuable per pound than gold. So I resorted to body weight exercises. I had a pull-up bar and an ab wheel, and there's a YouTube yoga guy who I really like. As much as I got really good at pull-ups and push-ups, these weren't nearly enough. Turns out when you don't weigh a lot, body weight doesn't count for much. I found myself wanting something more. I wanted that familiar burn, that same feeling you get after putting 150 pounds over your head. I couldn't replicate that, not even a little. Like the Little Mermaid, I want moooooooooore! Then I found these by chance. Or, more likely, because of target advertising where the interwebs quickly learned that I was desperate for a decent workout. I was skeptical at first, thinking that these were sort of gimmicky, that a glorified rubber band could never replace wrought iron and gravity. When the bands arrived, I quickly signed up for the program on the TA2 website. There was a bit of a snafu getting everything connected, but I sent them a quick email and it was rectified within just a few hours. So bonus kudos to their customer support. They were great. Thanks, Jennifer! Once the program was up and running, I took the bands to a quiet place in the house free of noise or cats. I set up my laptop and pulled up the first video of the "Build" workout. It took a bit of toying to get the resistance right and to figure out my grip and posture. If you harbor ANY doubt about if these bands can give you a good workout... ...WELL LET ME TELL YOU! These suckers will do it. How young and foolish I was a week ago. These are not merely "glorified rubber bands."They are gladiator-building chains of exquisite pain. After I was done with the first workout, I wanted more, so I repeated the entire thing. Sweat poured out of me like it hadn't in so long. I was shaky. I was starving. I. WAS. FREE!!! Each workout is as difficult as you want it to be. If you want a challenge, if you want to prove yourself, you can do that. The 20-10-10-15 methodology gives an amazing balance between strength, balance, and cardio. You have to focus so intently on what you're doing because of how the bands want to pull you into a pretzel shaped scrumple of a human that screams, "KILL ME!" It makes you want to pay attention to your form like nothing I've ever experienced before. For the first time in forever, I finally feel like me again. If you want to be a shaking, blubbering mess of sweat, tears, and the physical embodiment of pain and agony, these are for you. Challenge yourself! Be the best you! Own that pain and the burn and together we will rule the galaxy as father and--- wait, wrong speech. You get my point. I find these bands delightful. I look forward to using them for a long while to come. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to schlub my way over to the pantry to make a protein shake. Ow.

High Quality Resistance Bands
I had purchased another set of bands awhile back and wasn’t really happy with them. Undersun was the other bands I had considered at the time, but the bands I purchased had some handles that I thought would be much more helpful than they turned out to be. After deliberating for awhile I decided to purchase the Undersun Fitness bands. There was a world of difference quality-wise. The Undersun bands don’t stretch as easily, so you’re really getting a more intense workout overall. Even the Light bands offer quite a bit of resistance. With the other brand I found myself increasing the distance to my anchor point, and then increasing it again because it did not offer significant increase in resistance. With the Undersun bands if you need more resistance it doesn’t take more than an inch or two choking up on the bands to get a pretty big difference in resistance. All in all, these bands are well worth the money, and the video training is great with good production values. I was so pleased I bought another set so that I can use two bands of the same resistance for some of the single arm exercises and work both arms together. This doesn’t work with all of the exercises, but it also gives me more flexibility when combining bands. Highly recommended.

Very good for building muscle. Occasional uncomfortable hand positions.
I discovered Undersun resistance bands from James Grage's YouTube channel. I liked who he was and he's great at explaining how to exercise with resistance bands. Based on those reasons, I went with Undersun. Resistance bands are no joke. I've definitely built muscle with these bands. I like that there seems to be an infinite number of exercises that can be done with them. I also like how portable they are. They did take a little getting used to, but I'm adjusting. The one downside to these bands, on occasion, is an uncomfortable hand position. For example, when doing a deadlift/squat-type exercise, there's a lot of resistance, and because of that, my fingers got uncomfortably squeezed together at the end of the loops. I ended up finding a different hand position that was more comfortable, but it's times like these when I'd prefer to have a metal bar to hold onto. I should mention that this issue happened even when wearing Undersun's workout gloves. But, so far, this was the only exercise where this was a problem. I haven't used the TA2 workout program yet, but it was simple to sign up for. I've been content with the exercises found on James Grage's YouTube channel. Overall, I really like the benefits of these resistance bands. They're high quality and can be taken anywhere.

The product is great, strong customer support, and the programs work - people stick with them!
Like many people I lost access to weights around April re COVID. I searched the web for resistance bands, the UNDERSUN products came up and I decided to give them a try. Could not be happier! Along with the bands that are the most durable I have seen, there is an easy to use video based program requiring no equipment. I am 68 years old, worked out on/off my whole life, this the most success I have had with consistency. I am using the "Build" program, a 5 day split, and I have not missed a week since I started. I am not a hard core lifter - I play tennis, golf, and hike and am seeing good benefits to all sports. The customer service is great, and there is a great user group on Facebook where people support each other every day! That is one reason I have not missed a week yet.

Great challenging workout!!!
I love the bands. I find it a difficult workout. But no pain no gain. After two weeks of Following the instructional video I do see results, subtle but results all the same. I recommend using gloves because they can cause friction on your skin without them. So far, they are durable and the stretch is great. I never thought I’d get Past the first band, but I have for some exercises. They will be great for traveling, they come in a nice bag and they are light enough to be carried anywhere!!

DO NOT PAY FOR EXERCISE PROGRAMS
You would do just as well to find band exercises on youtube. The bands are good, I'm not going to say they aren't what is upsetting is the amount they charged for the workout programs. It is a fair bit more, depending on which one you get, to get these bands with a workout program which should be a big selling point, ie: if you want to best use the bands get a work out program. Unfortunately signing up for the program when ordering through Amazon is a bit of a pain, also the new app they tell you to switch over to is terrible, but the truth is the workout programs themselves do little to inspire and have little in the way of variety to keep you interested. I say what I am about to say having owned the bands for a couple weeks, and having looked ahead at the future weeks routines, I am thinking of returning them to just turn around and order the regular bands or seeing if I can get credited for just the workout portion. Update 2/8/21: Sending them back for a refund cause I can't get credit back for the terrible workout program. Again, the bands themselves are good, I'm just reviewing the bundle that almost doubles the cost for a terrible workout program.

Fantastic bands and workout program for intermediate and advanced users.
Very designed and durable bands. I also bought the TA2 build program as an add on. James Grage is an outstanding fitness coach and takes the time to demonstrate how to properly perform the exercises and truly cares about how we progress. Unfortunately, the TA2 program is just too advanced for me at this time. I am 61 years old, coming off cancer surgery and intensive radiation treatments. I am looking for a beginner program that is geared more to seniors. When I find it, I will definitely use the Undersun bands. Thank you, James for a great fitness product.
