Is this made of 304 or 316 stainless steel?

I have not installed mine yet and don't know if I even knew which stainless it was when I Ordered. Installing is a winter project for me. However, If your worried about which it is, your worrying over nothing. It doesn't matter. As a 50 yr veteran of fabricating/welding with more stainless than other alloys, I can tell you 304 is used for almost everything other than food grade. Then it pretty much becomes 316 any time sanitary is involved. And were a long way from that in these tanks. My suggestion is buy the product and don't worry about it.

Do the sensors contain any Lead (Pb)?

Actually, lead is a very good conductor but no this product does not contain it.

Can the sensors be removed and replaced if they become dirty?

I havent installed the sensors yet so wont know sometime after I fit them. From their design they look like it could be possible, however over long term rubber usually perishes & replacement may be warranted. Hope this feedback helps.

Can I use these in place of the long probe sensors?

Yes you can but from my study the long sensors are better, I ended up going with sea level sensors that stick on the side of the tank
