No batteries needed!
My grill’s lighter was battery operated but the mechanism broke and the replacement was very expensive - then I found this, that not only fits in the hole that was already there but with a very minor modification I was able to even keep the original wires and no batteries!

Upgrade successful with modifications
The media could not be loaded. I acquired two second hand Colman stoves. One of which was a match light, that also has the better burners. The installation was easy but the electrodes were a bit too large so I had to cut down the bottom end and really bend down the top to fit. Over all it works and I’m satisfied with the results.

Good replacement parts for the price.
Do what they are supposed to do.

Only used the "Propane Push Button Piezo Igniter"
Propane Push Button Piezo Igniter when pushed would not cause a spark with the included Threaded Ceramic Electrode.Lucky for me, the Propane Push Button Piezo Igniter when pushed would cause a spark on the old and existing Ceramic Electrode in my grill and would light my grill. The Push Button Piezo Igniter was easy to install.I pulled off the wire connecting the old push button igniter to the old ceramic electrode.I removed the old push button igniter put the new push button igniter in the same spot.I connected the new push button igniter to the existing wire that was connected to the old ceramic electrode.I only used the Propane Push Button Piezo Igniter.I did not use the wire or the included Threaded Ceramic Electrode.

Well they kind of worked.
I tried to use these to have igniters on my Camp Chef 2 burner stove. (The price was 1/4 the factory igniters.) I like to use a full size griddle on it to cook on it. I mounted them in the corners trying to keep them away from the heat but to no avail. They both had melted after the second use. You may better luck with your project but I didn't. It looked like a good location but oh well. Ordered the factory igniters and plan to do it right this time. Good luck.

They spark.
I thought these might work for my space heater but I went with an original equipment sparker for the space heater.

Igniters are the worst invention ever.
Installed one and viola! We had our last barbeque of this summer. Cleaned the grill and covered it up. Today we could not get it to work and had to use the ever dependable matches. I’m not even gonna install the other one. I’m done with igniters.
