Holds both the keyboard and the trackpad. High quality product. Ideal to travel around. The only thing is that the two lightning sockets are too close to the plastic below, which makes it hard to insert and remove the cable, and may act as a lever which pushes the keyboard and the trackpad upwards.

The Bestand Keyboard Stand is designed so that it is easy to install both the keyboard and trackpad into it, to link the two devices together. The on/off switch on the back side of both the keyboard and trackpad remain easily accessible. The Lightning Port connectors for recharging either device also remains easily acceptable to connect the re-charging cord whenever that is needed. I'm less enthralled with the Keyboard Membrane that comes with it. Although I installed it as directed by the very few instructions that come with it, the membrane is not completely transparent, so it gives the keys a somewhat "milky" appearance. Additionally, due to the composition of the material, the user's fingers do not slide from one key to another as easily, as when typing without it in place over the keys. On the other hand, it certainly helps keep the keys clean, and would retard any spilled liquid from seeping down between the keys.

Good to have keyboard cover film; a bit too flexible to use in lap

I thought for an extra $1, I would try the membrane but I found it impaired my typing because I tend to "slide" my fingers across the keyboard. The keyboard stand is robust and holds the keyboard and trackpad firmly and the whole unit does not move on my desk due to the rubber bottom.I recommend the product.

If I could give it more stars, I would. It's not super easy to take out. But, that might be a good thing because it will not fall out. The spacing is perfect. I work in a recliner with this in my lap. I do use a cylindrical pillow that is about the same size as my leg. Then, I can rest this in my lap with the keyboard directly in front of me and the trackpad to the right but all aligned. I love this thing!

it is too hard to remove

I needed something like this for a conference where the person would have to hold up the keyboard and trackpad together in one hand and I really like it. Really great feel to the product, the rubberized bottom helps it stick well and is good quality.

After several attempts at keyboard covers and stands for my iMac, this one is a match! Fits perfectly. Stsnd is easy to use and extremely durable.
