Gallon Gear Fitness Hydration Cover - Neoprene Insulated Cooling and Portable Gym Water Bottle Carrier - Case with Storage Pockets

I wanted to make sure that I wrote a review on this so others are warned about one design flaw. I'll start off by saying that this product is good. I'm happy with it. The price for the quality is alittle ridiculous though. This should cost $19.99 and no more. Now, my one complaint about the design: the pockets don't line up with the sides of the gallon jug that you will be using with the Gear Gallon. For the most part we are all going to be using a standard one gallon jug purchased from our local supermarkets, it'll be four-sided with a handle. The problem with the Gear Gallon is that they placed the pockets in a manner where they go across the corners of the jug. One would think that it would make more sense to put one pocket per each side of the jug. But, no. Instead they placed them kind of haphazardly so that the pocket stretches across the corners of the jug. I put my cell phone in the mesh pocket and the corner sits against the back of the cell phone. And forget about even using the clear plastic pocket unless you plan on putting a piece of paper in there. The pocket is basically halved because the corner of the jug sits right in the middle of the pocket. Other than that stuff, I think it's a good product but over priced.

Truly an amazing product!!!! A designed sleeve for a gallon water jug is such a simple concept, but I’ve never seen it done before, and Gallon Gear did a phenomenal job of making this not only more aesthetic than drinking out of a plain opaque water jug, but having it become a practical alternative to carrying a small bag, too!Pros: Two very spacious pockets for storage (could use one for your phone and one for your money/cards/lipstick), in addition to a belt loop for your keys and a clip for anything else you might be able to think of! I’ve been using this for a couple weeks now regularly, and I haven’t had anything fall out of the pockets yet. They are both very deep and this entire sleeve feels well made; it’s very thick and durable! I’ve been going to the gym just carrying this and I’ve had everything I need each time. Super convenient to just pick one thing up to go from one machine to the next.Another pro- this makes it really easy to track your water intake by switching to gallon jugs! I always thought I drank A LOT of water, but it turns out I drank a little under a gallon a day. That being said, an average person (not going to the gym or sweating a lot) needs about 2 Liters of water a day, so I’m still drinking enough. This bad boy just saves me trips to the water fountain for refills and lets me focus my time and energy into more important things (like writing this review, of course!)Cons: Not with the sleeve itself, but drinking out of a gallon water jug can be quite a difficult task at first since for gym newbies (myself) because it’s a bit heavy! Use both hands! Once it’s halfway gone, however, it becomes a lot easier ;)Tip #1: The company has a bunch of reusable jugs which are not only even more aesthetic when you mix and match them with these covers, but they’re environmentally friendly! However, you don’t NEED one of these reusable containers to use this sleeve, it fits on any gallon water jug (or gallon milk jug, if that’s your thing) you can find. I’ve been using a cheapo from Walmart because I wanted to make sure I liked the product first... but I definitely fell in love with Gallon Gear and I will certainly be back for it!Tip #2: If you have any friends who are police officers, this makes an AMAZING gift for them for the holidays or even their birthday! Or, you could simply use it for yourself as a very nice sign of respect and admiration for all those who risk their lives to keep us safe. My brother is a police officer which was a driving factor in me getting one to show my support!Overall, 10/10 and I will definitely order more from this company in the future. Some commenters have mentioned it being expensive, which it is, but in the end it’s truly an amazing value that makes it worth it, especially knowing you’re supporting a smaller company with awesome values. In this day and age, a lot of companies err on the side of conforming to what they think other people want. This design simply proves Gallon Gear isn’t like that. Any company that is able to show respect where respect is due definitely gets respect from me! I can’t wait to see more designs in the future to choose from! :)

Don't get me wrong. I love my gallon gear jug and cover and Im sure they will have more designs to choose from in the future however I think they are a bit overpriced. I do get tons of compliments though plus it's kinda cool looking and very functional. So yeah the price is my only complaint honestly . For a water jug this was kind of a splurge.

I love that this sleeve fits on standard gallon jugs that have handled. It holds my wallet, keys, and phone at the gym so I don't have to keep everything in my pockets or on the floor. Since purchasing this I have been more consistent with bringing water to the gym and subsequently stay more hydrayed each day. If you use gallon water jugs then THIS IS FOR YOU!

It's good, but get a bit sloppy when you turn your bottle up for a big gulp. Had a really strong vinyl/rubber smell. Had to air it out a couple of days outside to get rid of the smell, otherwise, a good product. You can live without it, but saw a couple of guys at the gym with them, so of course I wanted one too.

I love love love this product. This is probably my third of four gallon gear product and I can’t say enough good things about them. Bought it as a gift for the cop in my life and they were super excited about it as well.

I love this jug hug! I can go to the gym an clip my keys on it, keep my water cold etc! It's thick material like a coozie. Great quality 👍
