Do plastic sleeves need to be removed, or can they stay on for protection of candles?

Dear, the plastic is to protect the Halloween candles and decals during the transit, and you can remove them when you receive them.

Are the candles multi colored when off and solid orange when on?

These candles color are orange, but the decals on each candles are different. And their light color is amber yellow when turn on.

Each candle requires three aaa batteries?? wow, that is a lot. all my other pillar candles only require 2 aa batteries.

Based on our over 10 years producing, mostly 3 AAA battery candles are more lighter than 2 AA batteries

Does this product include a remote control? - listed on web page - control type - remote control.. The timer function does not work

I gave the to my eife as a gift. She is always the one that tinkers with the decor. That said, I don’t think there is a remote, she uses the timer that is on the bottom of the candles so they go on and off per the settings. By the way, they are really cute and have lasted years.
