I've used tanning oil sprays when laying out and they do an ok job. However, this tanning gel keeps your tan longer and looking golden all summer long. Its very hydrating and smells good. The only downfall is that it doesn't have any sunscreen in it.

Very good at tanning. But the red gel does transfer and can get clothes dirty does not wash out with water. Must wear black!Have to put in washer with tide.

I bought this because the majority of the reviews were positive so I wanted to try it. I have a cruise coming up so I wanted to have a nice glow before embarkation day. I stayed out 15 minutes each side, given the advise from other people. And the photos are prior to using the product, immediately afterwards, and about 4 hours after tanning. You can see somewhat of a deepening but nothing compared to what some of these other reviews suggest. Pros: -There’s no smell of any kind -It does aid in tanning a bit Cons: -Another reviewer described the consistency to that of caramel. That is perfectly accurate. It’s thick and globby and doesn’t spread the best. -It’s VERY greasy, like don’t touch anything, don’t sit on anything because it will get everywhere. To be honest, I felt gross. -It is tinted and as a result it stained my bathing suit and towel. -It was difficult to wash off. I still felt greasy after scrubbing repeatedly. All in all, I would not recommend this product. Given the cost of the product versus the payoff, it’s just not worth it.

I purchased a jar of Carroten Tanning Gel and I absolutely LOVE it! I am very fair skinned, but come Spring, I start to try and get a tan, but I am so pale that I burn easily in the beginning but then it settles in and I tan, but I can never get dark without some kind of help from various products, I can never really dark. With baited breath, I looked for my old favorite Bain' De Soleil but sadly, they discontinued it, I know, I know, it was a product that I used in the 80's but man that stuff was great, and that made me so sad, but then I got a suggestion from Amazon for the Carroten Intensive Tanning Gel. After reading the reviews, and after some research, people even mentioned that it was like the Bain' De Soleil, minus the SPF 4 and I knew that I had to try it and ordered a jar of Carroten Intensive Tanning Gel and wow, the first day, I had stripes, I was red, don't get me wrong, but I was also a darker color than I could've ever gotten with any other product, and faster, other than getting a fake spray tan. Carroten Intensive Tanning Gel has no SPF factor so keep that in mind because you will burn if you're not careful, but in the long run, I got a deeper, darker tan than I ever could have on my own. I highly recommend the Carroten Intensive Tanning Gel, just know that it is greasy and it will get on your clothes so make sure you wear a T-shirt that you don't care about, but definitely try this, go slowly, and you won't regret it.

The good news is - it works. As soon as you apply it, you get a little kiss of sun. A little goes a long way, and it's very easy to apply. The bad new: It will stain what ever it touches, and it is VERY hard to wash off. Took a shower when I got home from the beach today - hot water and plenty of soap... my legs still feel greasy, and my white bath towel has a little discoloration on it. Plan ahead for the times you are going to use this - old bath towel and old sheets.

Omg this is my 4th tub of this.it smells and feels amazing.it actually hydrates your skin and leaves it silky. And most of all the tan you get is stunning honestly.and you can't even see the cream oil on your skin.i love this. The only thing is it gets on your clothes. But it does wash out . Its only from amazon i buy it tho. As I bought some of ebay and it was same tub everything. But it was so watery. I knew as soon as I opend it. It was nothing like it. Im just being honest..

Ero un po’ diffidente, il fatto che non ci sia alcun tipo di protezione solare mi lasciava perplessa. L’ho utilizzata mettendo prima una protezione e poi questo unguento e l’abbronzatura è stata meravigliosa. Il profumo è la consistenza sono buoni.
