Stainless Steel 304 Gate Latch, Satin Finish, Padlockable, 3 47/64" Length (Pack of 1)

I bought this product because I noticed it came with a plate so that this latch could be mounted like a deadbolt. Our gate closes and it meets the post at a 90 degree angle, so I needed something like this that could slide directly into the post and latch like a deadbolt. This latch is pricier than some, but it is great quality and seems it will last a very long time. It does come with 2 latching options and screws to mount into wood.

This is well made and all I wish is that it would be a little longer in the through, to bridge the gate gap

Good quality stainless. Works as exoected

I was looking for an attractive stainless lockable gate latch to use on my shed that didn't look like a tool box hasp. Many gate latch locks are ineffective because one can just remove the screws to defeat the lock. With this design the latch bolt blocks access to the screw heads.

Installed this latch on my wife's "fabric shed" which has two doors. Very sturdy and rust-proof. She use a combo lock to lock the latch.
