I have not installed these tuners. This review is based off my impressions after opening the package. I bought these tuners to use on cigar box guitars. They seem great for that purpose and the price is fantastic. Everything is included - tuners, covers for the gears, bushings, and screws! I would recommend these for cigar box guitars, other projects, or beginner/inexpensive guitars.

These are not the greatest tuners but they do the job. I recently restored and repaired in old ibanez Acoustic guitar. The tuners were broken so I decided to replace them along with a neck repair some re gluing of the bracing and some cosmetic changes. Like I said they are not great tuners but they do the job. the ratio is much slower when tightening the strings than the originals but sometimes that comes in handy when trying to fine tune a problematic string or a nut that sticks. They look great and they function adequately so, for the price they can't be beat. I would definitely purchase them again if I was doing the same kind of project but only for a lower end guitar. I would not recommend these as a replacement for Grover's or whatever originals you may have unless you're just looking for tuners that work. So far it's been a little over a month and I haven't had any problems with them. I noticed that some of the reviews said that they fell apart or that they came broken... I did not experience any of that .

Solid tuners that are better then stock for some older Chinese made budget brands. Holds tuned fairly decently, but wouldn't expect them so stay that way after an hr of playing. G string bend test results: 4 massive bends before going wayy outta tune. 3 time before that only slightly out of tune. Good tuners, but not great. 6.7/10 (i dont give out 10’s)

Easy to install, all parts are accounted as shown on website picture. Best to make sure if this is the one you are looking for. Not all guitar parts are the same. Price is worth it.

These came neatly packaged in several bags wrapped in layers of packing tape and placed in a mailer. Upon cutting the tape(and one of the bags) I discovered that one of the tuner's shields was loose enabling me to see the inner workings. The spiral gear is nice steel although the brass of the peg gear seems relatively soft, a concern that would haunt me upon assembly. After restringing my guitar (which had previously had a damaged machine head due to a fall onto the carpeted floor at church) I was able to get all of the strings to tune other than my G. That one would tune up to about d then the gear(the very same one that was apart on receivable) would simply spin until the screws holding the gears loosened themselves. My remedy was to place the old machine head back on. All in all quite expected for price.Other than 1 of 6, the others perform exactly to my high expectations. It came on time, a relief as another vendor neglected to tell me a previous order of more expensive tuner's was delayed. I really didn't like the packing tape but understand the need to keep all of the parts together. Definitely works for the emergency contingency plan section of any gig bag.

I looked all over for replacement tuning pegs for a cheap Epiphone Les Paul I bought at a tag sale. I looked at alot of guitar sites but I had a hard time finding tuners that were an exact fit for the originals, I didn't want to drill out new holes for the mounting screws. I saw similar ones on another site, then I came back to amazon and found these cheaper. The tuning pegs came on time and in good condition, except one of the trim rings which had a slight blemish on it. You can't see it unless your looking for it. It doesn't affect the performance at all. So far my guitar has stayed in tune just fine. Their not top of the line, but for the money they get the job done.

This product is not worth what you pay for it... I put the keys on my guitar and the screws broke off in the wood... after further review the set screws are made from aluminum .. Yes I drilled pilot holes but they still broke off in the guitar head stock wood... now my electric guitar neck cant be used anymore due to bad cheap product . Guess I learned my lesson .... buy good product not cheap product from unknown companies.

These are your typical cheap Chinese made style B tuners. Semi enclosed back, which is removable so you'd have open back tuners. These come with LARGE buttons on them in case you are thinking of replacing the tuners on your 12 string. kinda cheap but I haven't been able to find anything else. I wish more information would be given in the description so you could know if these will work without guessing.

5/5 review - These were brilliant for my Martin Smith Acoustic Guitar. They arrived in great condition, I was very pleased. They were light weight and fit perfectly on without any struggle. Bought as my old ones were in a bad state and I was unable to tune my guitar correctly however after buying these I can now start to use my guitar again. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and would highly recommend to guitar players and musicians.

pretty standard pegs, fits my Yamaha just fine and does it's job.

They're ok, not very good quality but they are cheap so can't expect any more. Having said that I have been advised by the supplier that the product will be improved, which of course is encouraging.

all but one of the covers was made correctly.. one I have to grind the hole to line it up properly so the cover will seat over the tuner shaft ...a very delicate procedure but do able...
