RoomMates RMK11313WP Faux Grasscloth Grey RMK1131, Gray Roll

We used this to add visual interest to a small basement wet bar backsplash before hanging shelves. It has a convincing looking texture considering it’s a print. The finish was not too glossy under the light. That said, something I learned about grasscloth is that due to the pattern/color variations, the seams will show. I meticulously pattern matched and aligned the edges and still the seams are clearly visible. It doesn’t bother me with the shelves hung, but I could see it killing me slowly if hung on a big open living room or bedroom wall. The wallpaper is as advertised and sufficiently sticky. I had no issues with adherence but will update my review if that changes. Stylistically this gave me what I wanted, but I could see it not being for everyone.

Great product. Goes up easy. Since I've installed it for the 4th time! It will not stay on the wall. Brand new apartment. Everyday I come home it's peeled off the wall. I put small nails at the top. Wallpaper still bubbles. Very expense contact paper that will NOT stay in place. I will be getting a refund either from Amazon or American Express. Don't Easter your time or money.

Skeptical, but no more. It took 10 minutes to prep the wall, 1 hr drying time and just under one hour to lay this on my son's bedroom wall. Prepping is key, don't skip the hard part (wiping your wall down with warm water and a drop of dawn soap) me teenage son is satisfied and so are we! ****** Update, it's still looking fantastic, no falling off at all!

Install was super easy and looks better than i expected

6 weeks in: About half the wall still looks great. The other half has peeled off the wall regularly and I might have to do it again with a new roll. There seems to be a lot of inconsistency in quality. The first three rolls adhered fine, the last one has been really bad.

I’m running out of walls. I am so addicted to all the fun patterns and designs. For the ease and price it’s so much fun to be able to transform a room within minutes. It’s sticky enough to adhere to the wall but not enough to ruin your wall if you want to take it down. I would measure your walls but add one extra roll. The grass cloth design you wouldn’t have to worry so much about doing that but if there is a pattern or design involved it’s a must to buy that extra roll.

I love the color of this wallpaper but there’s a manufacturing defect. I ordered 2 rolls & they both had a vertical white line that goes down the entire length of the roll. I included a video to show this. It was a lot harder to install because I had to work around this defect. I got it up only because I was crunched for time & couldn’t wait for a replacement. Just wish it wouldn’t have caused so many issues for me.

I love this wall paper. I’m never painting a wall again. Was able to do an accent wall in my kitchen and when it came time to remove it it came off with no problem and one small damage but that was on me for yanking it. Other than that I rolled it up to use again. I even used some left over to cover a cabinet to match. If no one else buys this I know I will.

The backing did not peel off easy and left little bits that were hard to remove. Also hard to line up all the little lines. Seems thin and cheap. But we'll see how we'll it lasts.

The wallpaper is great. I have reservation due to other negative reviews. But this wallpaper is excellent. I think those reviewers may just have had a lack of competence when putting up the wallpaper itself. Make sure you properly plan out how many rolls you need as I was almost short. the pattern on this wallpaper makes it a breeze to line up.
