SOLID, *heavy* metal housing. Remote works, but programming it isn't documented well
Shipped fast. Received, tested and installed (not permanently yet), so this is INITIAL impression. We'll see if it holds up outside and over time - but my initial impression is favorable compared to my several other holiday lasers.LIKE: Very heavy & solid construction; inner seal is better than average; Tri-color, RGandB lasers.DISLIKES: Swivel base needs work. Red "protective' sleeve. Programming is screwy till you get it.REVIEW:This has solid metal construction and *way* heavier than most. Power supply is 2A@5v not the standard 1A. Laser's spec sticker shows 1A required, so they're shipping an above average power supply. The bezel is held by 4 machine screws, which is covered by a red silicon rubber protection sleeve (which I don't like).I always open these to see how the inner seal looks; I was impressed. There is a solid rubber seal underneath, not just an o-ring. The only area likely to leak is cutouts where the screws pass thru the seal, but these appear to go into *solid* metal housing, not into the inner electronics (still I prefer the screws be sealed - I added #1 o-rings & teflon tape to screws, see pic#3; I also tefloned the power cord threads, pic#2).I both dislike and like the left-to-right swivel base (pic#1). I like that there is a swivel action rather than having to reposition the stake. But it is too loose, and there's no way to tighten it without removing the height-adjustable part of the base, which has Loctited threads and clearly not intended to be removed. A set screw or collar here would help. The red silicon rubber sleeve is ok, but I'd *much* prefer it be *black* so it blends in. I don't think it is meant for water resistance, it isn't tight enough for that (and this has a much better than normal inner seal). It does cover the bezel joining surface, so I suspect its purpose is deflect rain & debris from this joining surface. Finally, I can understand those who say the remote is broken. It isn't, but the programming of this is screwy and I saw nothing in the documentation about how it actually works, so here goes: Upon power-on, the laser is in a demo mode, cycling thru every combination it can possibly do. And yes, it is annoying. TO GET IT OUT OF DEMO MODE... you have to press ONE of the color buttons. This exits the demo & begins "normal" operation, which is slow motor speed, non-flashing, in whatever color you pressed. At this point, you can select whatever color(s), motor speed, and flash rate you prefer. Just DON'T turn it off - or you're back in demo mode. A last note: Flash operates odd. To get NON flashing, keep pressing FLASH+ button. It cycles faster and faster till it gets to a strobe-like rate, then finally to non-flashing.OVERALL: Case construction seriously impresses me, some minor annoying details. If the motor and power supply are equal to the case construction, this *ought* to outlast the average laser.

It do what it promises
The media could not be loaded. This lights are so pretty, change colors. Sensors turn soft light on when sensing movements. It comes with the option for garden and flat floors I use the one for gardening. I use the lights for the entrance of my drive way it will look nice and elegant. Seriously thinking to buy more and put it all around the front yard, this lights give an elegant touch and because they are solar so is a good deal.

Not waterproof
Sold as floating pool lights. Three out of four got water inside and quit working. Seller replaced. We did not put the second set in the pool, but set them around the edges. In a few weeks, one had rain water inside and quit. Put them up for the year after that, so I don't know if any will survive next year. We were past the return window for the second set, so I did not get to send them back.

Okay lights
These are brighter than l thought but that’s okay. I was disappointed however that they only change colors when there’s a motion nearby. So if no movement the lights just white. Even then after a few seconds it returns to white.

NOT FOR POOLS!
The description says "floatable." That would make you think pond or pool, right? Nope. I tossed all four in the pool, they worked for three days and died. Waste of money.

This light is RGB and great patterns, But see review.
I really love the pattern display of this light with moving Red, Green & Blue lighting. The only problem (and the reason for 4 stars) was that sometimes it would not come on with all 3 colors and I had to use the remote control to cycle OFF and ON to get all color lasers working properly. But if available, I would buy again.

Remote control doesn't
Remote control doesn't. Selected setting is overwritten after a few seconds and the device begins its own [quite distracting] program. I wanted it to display three colors quietly. It wouldn't. I'm returning it. On the plus side, it is well constructed, the LED lights are bright, power cord is a good length, the remote is intuitive, and uncharacteristically, the instructions are well written and easily understood. Expect for the part where I couldn't bend it to my will, it is a good device.

Not great, but cheap price.
Not bright at all, but functions as described. Used in pool and doesn’t stay sealed very well, so got water inside. Air dry and try again if this happens to you. Screw tight as possible, but watch for temperature changes that may pop unit open.

They are not floatable or for the Pool. Water will damage them
I bought these to float on top of the pool and within a few minutes water gets inside them. I would not use at all.
