Used for a broom handle replacement!
I didn't use this for a mountain bike, I used it for a cheap, broken broom handle grip! It fit perfectly! IF you use it for the same purpose, carefully measure the diameter of the broom handle at the top after removing the bad grip... this happened to work perfectly, but it DOES have to fit slightly snug so it can slide up and down to install. BEFORE you add the GEL, figure out how you want the grip to be positioned for comfort because it's not symmetrical. i.e., turn left/right and pretend you're sweeping is all. I used some super glue GEL to secure it on the handle (slide it down a few inches from the top of the handle, apply a small amount of the GEL to the handle towards the top and slide it back UP so that the top tightening ring is FLUSH with the top - make sure the BOTTOM ring is the first thing to go onto the broom handle of course! Tighten the set screws, don't overtighten, no need to! Apply a small amount of GEL around the top edge of the handle opening/ring, gently tap the insert into the opening with a hammer (or even a flat-surface meat tenderizer!) and your'e done! Note: You could use the other grip further down on the handle to hold with your "lower" hand I suppose, I didn't bother. The main selling point of these grips overall is the apparent QUALITY of all the materials used including the packaging! If this all sounds to complicated to do, it really isn't -- better solution than throwing away the broom -- it's better than the "original" by far!

Great for anything that requires pushing or griping handlebars
Extremely comfortable. I used the grips on my walk behind Lesco lawn fertilizer spreader. I must say that they improved control and comfortably while pushing the heavy spreader up hills and maintaining control across uneven landscapes. They are simply to install and come with a long Allen wrench to adjust easily.

Good product for the price
These are not perfect, but they're a lot better than the junky ones I replaced. Pros: easy to install, fit wel, hold their position on the bars VERY well. Cons: a bit less "cushy" than I had hoped, the ergonomic extensions (flat part) deforms a bit when you're pushing hard. Overall, I'd buy them again, because they are a good value at the price, and a vast improvement over the hard rubber grips that came on the bike.

Worth over twice the price, just a few notes.
I read the reviews below and couldn't be happier with these grips. In response to some of the criticisms, while they may wear out quickly for rigorous mountain biking, they're fine for children's bikes, cruisers, and regular biking purposes. I read that they tore for some others during install, so I was extra careful mounting them. But they don't feel like thin, cheap rubber so I can't imagine how people tore them. 1. Obviously, avoid breaking the aluminum mounts or bucking your handlebar tube and don't over tighten the allen screws. 2. They're too long if you have GripShifts or other gadgets already on your handlebars. I had to nudge my mom's handlebar bell a couple inches in to accommodate the left grip. But this isn't the fault of the grips.

Good grips.
I have an older mountain bike and the bar grips had deteriorated. I like the style of these much better as they allow me to rest my palms. They are comfortable, went on easy and look good.

Didn't Work For Me (Unfortunately)
I have a 2018 Raleigh Cadent 2 hybrid bike and I need to replace the original grips. These Saplize grips seem to have good ergos and comfort based only on holding them without being attached to the handlebar. However, I was unable to install them properly onto my bike. I tighten the screws as much as possible without going crazy tight that I might damage the rings or strip the screws. Nevertheless, the grip moved (rotated) easily on the handlebar. I also could not (easily) install the end plug into my handlebar. Which made me realize that this is a terrible design. The end plug should fit into the grip itself, not into the handlebar.

These are great!
I installed these on my wife's and my bikes (3 total). I read that some had trouble with the screws stripping when installing. Therefore, I used vice-grips to squeeze the clamps (using a rag so as not to scratch the aluminum collars) 1st before I snugged the screws. These are comfortable and reasonably priced grips. I have a few hundred miles on my mountain bike using these grips and they stayed in place and feel good! Also, on one of my mountain bikes, I had limited bar end space so I cut 5/8" off the thin side to reduce these handlebar grips from 5" to 4 3/8". With a little ingenuity, you can cut the rubber and the hard plastic inner tube and still use the aluminum clamp.

Grips are great, end caps not so great
I purchased these for my Trek mountain bike. The grips actually do ease the pressure on your hands making them more comfortable then the original round grips. They fit perfect and tighten nicely. I gave 4 stars because the end caps are very difficult to install, but there are 2 spares and that was actually an excellent thing because I needed them to replace the first 2 that broke during installation. I finally figured out that you need to push the ends in at an angle with a blunt plastic stick and then jam them into the end tubes.

Buenos y tienen buena pinta!

No recomendados para down hill.

I wish they met expectations! :(
These bike handlebar grips are disappointing. They're uncomfortable, not supportive and slip easily, even with light use. The material feels cheap, and they don’t provide enough cushioning. Definitely not worth the price. I am requesting a refund please.
