Reliable Protection with Slight Price Hike
I've been using Norton 360 Deluxe 2023 antivirus software for my devices for the past six years, and it has consistently provided reliable protection against various cyber threats. While the software itself offers excellent security features, the only downside lies in the high renewal fees. However, the initial discounted rate for the first year is a welcomed bonus. The security features of Norton 360 Deluxe are comprehensive and efficient. It offers robust antivirus protection, safeguarding my devices from viruses, malware, and other online threats. The firewall and real-time threat detection further enhance the defense against potential risks, giving me peace of mind while browsing the internet or downloading files. Another aspect that sets Norton apart is its user-friendly interface. The software is easy to install, and navigating through its various features is straightforward. It offers a smooth and hassle-free user experience, making it suitable for both tech-savvy users and those less familiar with cybersecurity. The ability to protect up to three devices with a single subscription is a significant advantage. It covers my laptop, smartphone, and tablet, ensuring that all my devices are equally protected from cyber threats. This comprehensive coverage saves me the trouble and expense of purchasing separate licenses for each device. However, my main concern with Norton 360 Deluxe lies in the renewal fees. While the software provides exceptional protection, the renewal rates tend to be higher compared to other antivirus software options in the market. This can be a drawback, especially for long-term users like myself who have been loyal customers for several years. On a positive note, Norton consistently offers a discounted rate for the first year, which is appreciated. This discounted price helps to offset the higher renewal fees, at least for the initial year. In conclusion, Norton 360 Deluxe 2023 is a top-notch antivirus software that consistently delivers reliable protection for my devices. The comprehensive security features and user-friendly interface make it a valuable tool in today's cyber-threat landscape. However, the higher renewal fees may be a point of consideration for budget-conscious users. Nonetheless, the initial discounted rate for the first year is a welcomed perk that adds value to the overall package. Pros: Robust antivirus protection and real-time threat detection User-friendly interface and easy installation Coverage for up to three devices with a single subscription Cons: Higher renewal fees compared to other antivirus options The discounted first-year rate only partially offsets the renewal costs Overall, Norton 360 Deluxe 2023 remains a solid choice for those seeking comprehensive and reliable antivirus protection. Just be mindful of the renewal fees and consider the long-term cost implications when making your decision.

Used for 1 year, will not be renewing
Pros: I guess are if you like an antivirus that is constantly showing up on your screen at random, this is the one for you. Also the customer support agent I spoke with was professional Cons: Personally it provided more stress and less peace of mind than any other antivirus I have used for the following reasons; It has a ton of pop ups usually to push new products several times a month no matter how many times you click on ' don't show this' It randomly opens ALL browsers you have installed to push new products and creates shortcuts on your screen no matter how many times you delete them. I expect this kind of behavior from a virus, not an antivirus! It doesn't provide easy opt out options in the settings to opt out of all the constant invasive pop-ups that you manually have to close The vpn doesn't work for some countries and I only found out after calling customer support to ask why it was not working. This information isn't provided before you make the purchase The most annoying thing for me was the recent email I received where the visible part of the subject was "Enjoy peace of mind with your cyber safety protection." Innocent enough, right? Well since I've had such a horrific experience with them, I take no chances and open all emails just to see what they're about. This one, with the lovely heading, was informing me that they would be charging my card A MONTH before my antivirus is to expire ( why?? and why the vague email subject??). The new subscription is expensive at $104 . Basically if I hadn't opened this seemingly innocent email, I'd have seen a surprise charge on my card and had to chase a refund (I don't even want to imagine what this is like). It feels as though they wear you out by taking over your pc/ laptop, you probably won't open an email that seems so harmless. They could choose to use a more accurate email subject like "subscription renewal information" but they clearly choose not to, which to me appears somewhat deceptive to me. The details on how you can cancel the renewal are in the fine-print section of the email! Hidden somewhere in the middle of a large paragraph of the smallest text that most people would not read. And they require that go to the settings window on your computer to cancel it. No simple 'cancel renewal' option in the email. Also for an antivirus company that's supposed to be keeping me safe, I was referred to as 'Blank" in the email, instead of referring to me by my name. It is a small issue but seems careless for a company that is supposed to be detail oriented so as to keep me safe. There are easy ways to personalize emails even when sending to a large number of people so this just felt lazy to me. Overall: A good antivirus should work quietly in the background and only send notifications when necessary/ instructed to, not taking over your system to push useless pop ups, open browsers, and create random shortcuts like viruses do. This feels very predatory! I'm going to be canceling this immediately and going a different direction. I 100% will not be buying another Norton product ever again. Lesson learnt. I almost feel bad for leaving this review but I really hope it will help someone, and if they company sees it, that they will work on their issued and improve their services.

Still Works Good, No Problem Product Redemption, Norton 360 3 Devices
For current Norton subscribers or as most who have bought here know, never pay for Norton's ridiculous subscription auto renewal price. Anytime a new subscription is added always immediately cancel the auto renewal on your account/subscriptions. Also delete your credit card info from billing. I currently had one day left on my current subscription, Norton 360 deluxe 5 devices. I originally paid $34.99. Norton's subscription renewal price was $119.99, LOL. Off Amazon I purchased another Norton 360, this time 3 devices for $19.99 instead. The redemption link from Amazon showed up in my email immediately. After several minutes it also showed up in my Software Library. Before downloading its important to get on your existing Norton account and re add your billing credit card info. Norton will require this before the new subscription is added. I had no problems with the new subscription download or install. Also I did this with my prior subscription still current, 1 day remaining. The product subscription downloaded quickly and showed on my Norton account. Also the Norton interface on my desktop now also showed a new entire year remaining. I did a Live Update to download any new current updates and I was set for another year. The only thing remaining was to go back to my Norton account and cancel the auto renewal. Norton makes you jump through several hoops to do it. Also Norton makes it seem as though you are cancelling your subscription. You are not, you are cancelling the auto renewal only. I also delete my credit card info, adding it next year just before I'm ready to add a new subscription. Buying a new subscription through Amazon worked great and will save you a lot of money over Norton's offered auto renewal price.

Easy installation and setup
Installed on my PC on 20-Aug-2024. Installation was very straightforward. It leads you through all of the steps. The developers did a good job making it easy for the customer. After the initial setup it does guide you through some more screens for add ons that you can accept or deny. I accepted all of them. There was no charge. It is important to go in to the settings and make sure everything is as you want it. For example, I wanted the VPN turned on and I wanted it to auto connect. The settings were straightforward and easily understood. I didn’t notice any changes to the speed of the PC. I has just uninstalled McAfee - and I like to reinstall windows after removing antivirus type software because I think they have files that don’t necessarily get removed in the uninstall process. Point is, this Norton install was on fresh reinstall of Windows. But everything went perfect. Happy with the purchase.

Lot of issues installing
I purchased this and then immediately tried to install it. It would download the software but it would not install. I contacted Norton on chat explained the problem and they spent 2.5 hours trying to 1. Take over my computer ( software would not install) and 2. install Norton. The next day I spent another 3 hours on chat trying to get help to install it and the tech just could not get the software to install. In fact, this tech quit the chat, sending me a message that was going to help me. Of course his message did not contain anything new. I finally got someone at Norton on the phone, he was able to download the software and take over my computer to install Norton. He went thru DOS to download his program to control my computer. Finally after about 20 minutes he found the problem that prevented the installation. I had set my system so that it would not generate pop ups for permission to change the setting on my computer, once he changed this setting he installed Norton. I have over 35 years as a professional in computer . I have never seen this problem and was extremely frustrated with the installation problem. I especially did not like giving control of my computer to a stranger, but I was left with no other choice. A few other things, I had to go to Norton's web site to down load the software but I first had to make an account and agree to automatic renewal and was forced to provide a credit card for the next renewal before I could even download and install the software I had already purchased. After my software was installed I canceled the automatic renewal. Funny thing, went I went to load it on my laptop I had no problems at all. The automatic renewal and credit card requirements are a scam. No one should be forced to provide a credit card for renewal even before they are able to download the software that they already paid for. I had been using MacAfee for years, but I got tired of all the annoying pop ups and and upgrading my software . Sure I could shut down the automatic software up grades but then I got reminders that it was off. Once Norton was installed on my desktop things seem to work fine. I an not sure if I will renew or not, but that will depend how well it works and it will not be automatic and I will not buy it from Norton when you can get it much cheaper elsewhere. I do like the interface, and what the programs offers besides the virus protection, and not one pop up all day except when I check my email it continues to say it is checking for spam even though I check the box to turn the pop up off.
