Better than the brand names in every respect. They are only sticky on one side so they don't collect dust , muffle better and you get a larger quantity at a much cheaper price. Don't hesitate to buy these.

I dropped some on the floor and they were loaded with dust and stuff from the rug under my kit. I almost threw those away but I just learned that when they lose all the adhesive and ability to stick to the head, you can wash them under water, let them dry and they stick to the heads again lol I use 2 or 3 on my toms and like 5-6 in my snare when recording.

He seem to be holding up well. I can take them off if I need to but they don't move when hitting the drums. I would say the quality is about as good as Moon gel that I have used in the past. At this price I'm able to use a few in different areas on each drum without breaking the bank.

I recently tried the Fiada Drum Dampeners on my tom-tom, and I must say, I was impressed by their performance. After a bit of prior tweaking on my end, applying the gel pads brought my drum to perfect tuning and effectively eliminated any unwanted ringing. I would have rated this product 4.5 stars if possible, but I rounded down to 4 because the pads didn't stick as long as I had anticipated. These are the perfect fix. For unwanted after tones I even used them on my cheap practice cymbals a total game changer

They come off after playing the drums

I use Moongel for recording and when I mic my Drums for Live shows. These stick better than Moongel brand, and they are only sticky on One Side, so they don't attract all of the drumstick sawdust and normal dust and dirt. It also doesn't stick and get pulled off in your drum cases. It just stays where you put it. It's handy that they come packaged on stiff plastic sheets so you can put one sheet in your stick bag, one in your snare case, and another in your Mic Bag. You get a few different colors. That really doesn't matter to me, as long as it does what it's supposed to do, but It's a nice option for some I suppose. I teach Drum Lessons a few afternoons a week. My Students seem disappointed that these don't stick to their fingers and that can play with them, but then again, their finger oils and dirt doesn't make it less sticky and make me have to replace a Moongel every week. I also gave a sheet of them to the Sound Guy at a Festival I played a few weeks ago. He's sold on them and said he was going to buy some here on Amazon. I'm sold on them too, and going to buy more.

Good value for money but most importantly, they do what they are supposed to do, dampen the sound. I use them on the Ride cymbal and on the snare.

I actually like these a lot more than the original jell pads. These do a better job at dampening and controlling over tones and resonance than the old style jells. One properly placed is sufficient compared to 2 or 3 of the old jells. The oval shape is great for sticking in close to the rim and I suspect better for vibrations which do not run in straight lines across the head. These also have a non stick top so they won't collect dust and debris and if you hit it with the tip of the stick the stick won't stick to it or make a weird thwappy sound. Really good value for money as well. I haven't had them that long so I don't know about how long they will stay sticky or if you can wash them and put them back on. But so far, super happy with what they do and how well they work.

I like the fact that they do the job for cymbals that are loud and resonate sound. They are a great dampener if you just try 1 at a time
