My last wheeled duffle was excellent ($45.00 at Academy) but the manufacturer no longer makes them. It lasted 6 years with lots of travel. After extensive research on luggage, the e-bag was the one I opted for. I used it twice and it is amazing. My criteria was that it had to stand on its own, have a large drop down bottom, expandable, and hard back that protects the expandable handle (these tend to bend if not protected and therefore don't expand fully anymore). It met all my requirements... And more. Wheels glide easily, can pack a ton of stuff, and it made out of very durable materials. I also bought the small e-bag packing cubes. These are wonderful little bags that help you pack in an organized manner. They hold a lot, and when you get to your hotel, unpacking is a breeze, I love love love my e- bags and luggage! Buying one for my husband for Fathers Day. Well worth the money.

This One's A Keeper
I don't buy a lot of suitcases. The ones that I do buy, I expect them to last for a long time.Eventually, though, suitcases wear out. They break. Pieces fall off. Corners get worn away. They have to be replaced. Which is the point at which I take my old suitcases and then force them on one of my three sons. They are always appreciative of this generosity I so openly display. However, this time around, my youngest son specifically asked for a new suitcase. For Christmas, no less. I didn't like the idea of him having a suitcase that didn't require duct tape to hold together, but felt in the Christmas spirit.I did a little research on various suitcases and quickly realized that my son was going to want a duffel type of suitcase with wheels. At 14, he's big enough to carry his own suitcase, but, as he said, why carry it when he doesn't have to? Apparently my amusement didn't mean that much this time around.I also wanted a suitcase that could hold a lot of stuff. Neither I nor my kids pack a lot of stuff when we go on vacation, but we're often filled to bursting with souvenirs and clothing we'll never wear when we're not on vacation and other stuff. We need a big suitcase on occasion. However, with the airlines strictly enforcing the 50 pound rule, I also needed a suitcase that held a lot, but didn't weigh a lot. That quickly ruled out a lot of the larger hard-sided suitcases. After looking around for a while, I found this baby. It was, well, not love because it's a suitcase and not an iPad or whatnot, but respect, maybe. I'd had eBags before and they held up well to the abuse I put them through, so I felt good about its provenance. When the bag arrived, I quickly saw that eBags had come through again. This is a well-made suitcase. The seams are strong, yet unobtrusive. The zippers move easily open and closed. The wheels roll smoothly and don't hitch or turn to the side. Everything about this suitcase says well-made, spacious and light.Of course, the real test will be over the next few years as we put it through its paces in the real world. There probably won't be gorillas in baggage handling, but I'm sure it will get thrown around a bit. Should anything change, I'll be back to update the review. But I don't really see that happening. My previous eBags have held up very well and I expect this one to do so as well.I'm sure my grandson, when I finally have one, will enjoy getting this bag when it's time for the next new one.UPDATE:It's been three years since I purchased this suitcase. Where HAS the time gone? No, really. Where has it gone. I can't believe it's been three years since I got this keeper of a bag. I mean. . . sheesh. We've been through so much together, this bag and my family. I purchased it for my son, yes. The problem is, I'm such a giver, that I feel badly when something I've given sits unused for any length of time. By which I mean that I've stol-- er. . .I mean. . . I've BORROWED this suitcase on a number of occasions and been very glad I did.Three years in and this suitcase still looks almost new. Sure, there are some scuff marks and the like. Those are only cosmetic. Admittedly, that first one was tough. I wanted to get out the black sharpie and start rubbing off the white scuff. It was only because I'm so very easily distracted that I forgot to do it. Something about -- SQUIRREL -- something or other. When that second scuff mark got laid on by life's cruel sense of humor (and trying to stuff the suitcase into the trunk of a very tiny European car along with several other suitcases, all of which probably held more than the car) I realized I was going to have to live with the scuffs. And live with it we have. This still rolls along on smooth wheels and functions like it came from the store yesterday. The zippers still slide almost noiselessly open and closed and smoother than a greased up billiard ball. Or my head just after a shave. Pick your metaphor. So, yeah. If you're on the fence about this one, know that it's lasted through some serious abuse, still looks good and functions like a champ.

Wonderful Travel Bag
I am currently on a two week international trip and this bag is working out perfectly! It fits A LOT. I have been able to get everything that I needed for my trip in this bag and a carry-on suitcase.

Very big bag
I bought this because I got it a great price. However, the 29 inches version is very big, so it's ok if you are travelling for a while, because you can fit a lot of stuff in it. If, however, you need a bag for a short trip, consider buying a smaller version. The quality is very good.

This is a lotta luggage for he money!
I have owned 2 different eBags (soft luggage and a backpack). They are both still in use after years of travel abuse. eBag's products are sturdy. This rolling duffel bag is a LOT OF LUGGAGE for the money! Wow. And like my other eBags, it is very well thought out. Nothing radical, just nicely designed. It has a few compartments as opposed to one big compartment of some other bag designs. But not TOO many compartments (for my needs.). When I travel, I have one bag that fits my riding gear (all placed in a one-big-compartment rolling duffel) and I then use this bag for packing my clothes. This bag is also nicely designed (for my needs) to separate clean from dirty items. It works very well. Also The fiberglass rods which allow this bag to stand upright, even when it is not fully packed, are very convenient.eBag products seem to nail my perception of the desired quality/price ratio. They are sturdy.Save your money -- if you need big luggage, order this rolling duffel (or a hard or soft "spinner" from eBags.) Do not head to the "discount retailer" to buy some bag which may not really be a discount but rather junk.AND KEEP IN MIND: SIXTY TWO INCHES!This bag is AS BIG as some (now most if not all) international airline carriers will allow as checked luggage without additional fees. The combined dimensions (WxHxD) must be less than 62 inches. SO, this bag is as big as you my want to get.if you even care about appearance, the brushed Indigo, is a nice color -- dark enough to hide the abuses of travel but still attractive.I am obviously a fan of this bag.

Bad Zippers
I was an Ebag follower for many years and over time the quality began to fall backwards. Now it seems the last three bags yes three bags in the same amount of years have had zipper issues. I was able to repair the wheels by saving old bags and stealing the parts off them but not zipper.

A well made bag
As the title says; it looks like a very well made and sturdy bag. It has nice sturdy wheels and the zippers work very smooth even around the corners of the bag. Lots of room inside with lots of inside pockets to secure stuff. I really like the hard plastic bottom. It offers a lot of protection for the contents.

Huge, Wonderful Suitcase
I went on a transcontinental road trip with flights. This bag was getting handled daily and rolled everywhere and I can't even tell I used it. Awesome bag. Incredible amounts of organized storage.
