Regular PVC cowl vents start developing an ugly brown rash after a year of UV that just gets worse and looks terrible. After not being able to stand looking at my second set of PVC cowls I ordered these. They are VERY expensive, and be sure to get the one with the deck plate which you need unless you already had this type. Despite the cost, I am very happy with them, they look great, and I shouldn't ever have to replace them.

I had to return these regretfully. They are so perfect. But, as expensive as they are, when I discovered I would need new stainless base plates to put them in, the cost of all four got to be too expensive.

This is a nice little vent and just what we needed. Very sturdy with quality enameling over the steel. THIS one won't rust! Just measure the base as it won't fit all boats. I recommend.

Product is not advertised correctly. This is the 3" wide version, not the 4" as the title notes. I bought 4 but had to return them. Otherwise, they seem well-built.

They state “Easy to install” but without a deck plate you can’t install, I don’t see any mention of the deck plate on the add. Otherwise the first impression is good.

excellent shiny product. Fit is poor, loose and sloppy threads but compensated by the ram screw provided.
