The Lynx Audio SW-828V2 is an active subwoofer inside a sealed sound box with a built-in 360W 2.1 Channel amplifier. The first thing that you will notice about this subwoofer is the shape. It is a 7" × 10" bullet-shaped woofer designed for mounting not only in the trunk of a car but also being the seat in a small pick-up truck or a two-seater sport compact car. The system will add bass to your vehicle and will also provide more power to two of the speaker components in your car giving you a louder and better quality sound in your music. The other feature of this system in the built-in blue LED lighting that can be switched to either pulse with the music or illuminate constantly. The system comes complete with a pre-wired power harness that makes the installation go very quickly and easily without having to worry about installing all of the separate wiring that is normally required for a subwoofer/amplified installation. Speaker level inputs and RCA inputs allow convenient connection to just about any factory or aftermarket stereo system. The system also includes a wired gain/frequency control remote to allow you to have complete control of how much bass you want in your music, as well as the blue LED lighting effects.

Do Not Buy This Product!
After working for hours on my stereo install, I hooked this thing up and...wait for it....nothing! After going over the manual and ALL of my connections, I tested by meter, as well as, by replacing this unit with a real amp and speakers that I knew worked. Everything except the unit was fine. After using the trouble shooting section of the manual I found that by turning the gain to almost nothing I could get the unit to kick on long enough to prove it had signal and produced sound. Unfortunately the unit shut down (self protection mechanism I suspect) and kept turning on and shutting off. I would have called someone for help, but there was Zero contact information with the unit and NO Help Line. I finally broke down and took the install to a dealer who found the same results.So here I am with an amp that cost $150 and doesn't work.I would love to return it, or even get it fixed under the warranty, but there is NOWHERE to contact to get it repaired and you can only return it for 30 days. So now I have a $150 paper weight.I am very dissatisfied.

first one D.O.A. on arrival and i sent it back,i really like the way it looked in my truck so i bought another one. i hope this next one works. will keep you posted on place of purchase and sub wooferUPDATEHOLLY SHIIIT THIS THING SLAPS! thank you creative audio.

Had Best Buy install it and it blasted great
Had Best Buy install it and it blasted great. Perfect size for my 4x4. I also love the remote to adjust the depth of the bass. The blinking LED's at night will make you drive slow since they look like a police cars lights...lol
