This is a beautiful fixture! My only issue is that the screws were too short. I had to go to Home Depot and get some longer ones. You need a #10-32 1 1/2 inch. When I got it out of the box I was really skeptical that it was going to be too small. Once the lights were in though, it was perfect for our dining area.

Wow! This light is gorgeous!! It came very well-packaged and is high quality. I was surprised given the price. It’s the perfect touch in our whimsical playroom. Highly recommend!

I’ve installed a lot of lighting fixtures in my day and this was is by far the worst in terms of instructions and proper materials. In the picture, you can see the bracket can’t even fit into the canopy properly. I don’t know how they expect people to be able to attach a bracket that has to be protruded 2 inches below the ceiling to fit. I’m about to give up and put the original back in.

Product looks just as described. However, the mounting screws were too short to even use. Luckily my husband is handy and was able to get around that, but might be a problem if you are not as trained in installing fixtures. It does not include light bulbs but decided to use globe bulbs to give it a more retro look.

The mounting hardware that ships with this is astoundingly poorly thought out. The same cutouts are used to mount the bracket to the junction box as are use to mount the fixture to the bracket, making it impossible to install in many applications where the two spacings interfere. Even if you are able to get the spacings to work, the provided screws (which you have to use because the mate with the finial nuts) are so short that you don't have a prayer of getting the fixture to mount if your junction box isn't flush or protruding from your ceiling.Because of these issues, I wasn't able to cleanly install the fixture and returned it. That said, before doing so, I was able to do a sloppy install, and I will say that if you are able to install the fixture cleanly, it looks very nice and is a great deal at the price I paid (about $35), especially when paired with Edison bulbs.

Product doesn't have the correct screw to the ceiling, easy enough fix, fot the correct size from home depot. Then once installed with the ceiling wirings the ball itself wouldn't screw in the base it came with. This maybe inexpensive but not worth the time and headache trying to fix the engineering flaws. Buy something thats more $$$ as the time you ll spend installing this little crappy light fixture you might as well spend the extra cash as it'll save you the headache and you'll have a better quality product.

This light fixture is a great value, and looks great once installed. The finish is a very nice matte black. It measures 17” without the bulbs installed. With the bulbs, which are not included, it measures 23”. It’s the perfect size for a small to medium sized bedroom.The installation was a little cumbersome but not a big deal. The screws that go through the cover for installation were a bit long so we had to add washers between the base and the caps to get it snug. The arms are not adjustable, they are fixed positions.I think we will enjoy this fixture.

Ordered this flush mount light fixture and it came with no installation Instructions. Now, I’m no dummy when it comes to installing hardwired ceiling lights. I’ve done it before and it doesn’t require much. That’s not what I needed the instructions for. Problem with my light was that the screws that were provided didn’t allow my fixture to sit flush to the ceiling. It hung and dangled with an awkward gap between fixture and ceiling. When I asked for a pdf manual the response I got was “it’s not a complicated install, it is only two wires.” Overall, customer service and this product are not good.
