This will work with that OS. The software also has a recent update.

I have a spyder 4pro. Was that not accurate? What's the advantage of upgrading?

My Spyder4 Elite runs perfectly fine on Windows 10 running Datacolor's latest software. The advantage with X appears to be in speed of calibration. It takes Spyder4 Elite around 10 minutes to calibrate one monitor while SpyderX says mere minutes to complete.

Will it sit flush enough to calibrate a curved monitor?

I doubt it. I have a flat one, I have to lean it back and tape it to the monitor because it just doesn't hang straight down or have enough weight to sit nicely against the screen. In my opinion they leave it to you to do a lot of work just placing it.

Can I calibrate a Tv screen connected to a windows computer?

Did you try this? I want to use it to calibrate my Mac and my LCD TV screen. Need to know if it works on a TV monitor.
