We recommend use in green young coconuts following instructions on package to get coconut water easily. But it can also be used in peeled/dehusked coconuts.

1. What size hole is the opening made by this tool in the coconut? 2. This opens only young coconut, not mature ones with hard shell ?

1. size is enough to just drink coconut water. 2. Yes, it just open young coconut, hard shell will be difficult to open with this tool. This tool has focus on coconut water and the best quality coconut water can be found in young/green coconuts, no matter if it with white or green husk. Thank you!
