Safe Advantages
I pre-ordered this book because I needed to have it ASAP. I have very little time this year to deal with the new tax regulations and even less time trying to figure out how to arrange my expenses to maximize my deductions. what I found in this book is a concise, to-the-point explanation of all the legal aspects to being a landlord. I was able to determine the optimal approach to things such as repair vs. replace, the legal approach for side expenses that might be questioned in an audit, and the reference material I need to get the business in order.Being a landlord is not a simple occupation, but with help it can be a lot easier. This book and the reference material it quotes are just the help I needed to get through the tax season and the rest of the year without a headache.

Tax Guide for Landlords
Great book, very informative. I found deductions I didn’t realize I could claim. Also great suggestions for setting up files to make tax filing easier.Recommend for all landlords who are involved in monitoring their rental property.

If you own rental real estate property, this book is a must have
This book is very well written and gets to the heart of the matter much better than trying to read IRS publications. For example, I never could find in IRS pubs a simple, straightforward description for passive activity income and related tax implications. The author of this book explains it succinctly and easy to understand. Of course, many, many other topics are covered as well. I am a professional tax preparer, enrolled agent, and I’ve been been doing taxes for over 10 years. I bought this book so I could more easily explain things to my clients. If you own rental real estate property, this is a must have reference book for your use.

Easy to find, easy to read, good information
I have been using these for several years, on and off. I had some questions about a new rental property and some TurboTax questions about QBI treatment. I ordered this latest book and got right to the information I needed. Considering I recently finished law school and took six hours of Federal Tax Law, the fact that I decided to get this instead of using my legal resources and skills to answer my questions speaks to the ease of use of finding accurate information and advice in this book.
